Hello, this is a story set in a similar world much like yours but at the same time it is much different. Our world has its fair share of wars and just like ours so do they. Experience yields wisdom but not all know this. Some never learn while others always learn. Which one do think is wiser?

Our story follows two girls named Fantasy Daydream and Winter Wolfsong.

Fantasy is much of an introvert as she is a talented artist. The only people she talks too are Winter and the older ones at the orphanage. She feels the need to get her closer companions out of trouble. She is a very loyal girl who sticks by a friend with an iron will. Her entire life she had lived in the orphanage and it has shaped much of her strange personality. She enjoys drawing in nature, watching the animals that dare to come near the orphanage. She's great at technology and has built robots with the scraps she searches for. She's very smart but lacks the self esteem to realise.

Winter struggles to show emotions that aren't related to anger or boredom. She finds herself stealing and causing havoc for the orphanage and the surrounding villages. Though she often enough smiles even if she doesn't feel the need too, it's like her resting face. She lacks any sort of empathy towards anything probably due to her up bringing before the orphanage. She has a high interest in books and combat fighting. Though she has a small space in her heart for animals, though not even fantasy knows this. She is a smart girl who finds everything boring.

Winter lay on the ground, her nose in a book as she scanned the text quickly. She felt the breeze brush past her like a hand. Wait... That was a hand.

Grabbing on to the hand she flipped the figure onto the grass beside her. She heard the figure emit a growl and mutter a few profanities under their breath. Winter turned to the figure with a dorky smile, already knowing who it was.
" warn me before you decide to sneak up on me." She sighs watching the brunette recover.

" Are you a grown man or something? Seriously, your strength is no laughing matter!" She replies practically ignoring the other girl's comment.

Both of the girls sit up, looking off into the trees that rose up a few metre from where they sat.

" I can sense it. They're acting panicked. Something is coming." Fantasy whispered, barely heard by her carrot top friend.

" so? If something does come, you either run or face it head on. I'll be dragging you too hell if I must." Winter replied rather coldly to her friend.

" I thought you didn't care for others?" She asked odly interested in the explanation for that statement.

" humans are social creatures, we crave bonds from others and are swayed by others through simple words and mentions. I'm still human and I'll be damned to be forced to travel with some asshat, blond bit-" She was cut off by a shout from the building.

She sighed standing up and grabbing her book that lay abandoned on the grassy earth. " Time for a scolding" She seethed.

Fantasy just shook her head. No matter what she said both would get a scolding and maybe a whip of the leather belt.

They walked in the through the creaking old door that was often enough left wide open for the 'children' to wander too and from the house. Fantasy was more or less joined to the hip with the easily angered female. Much to her dismay, Winter was as much as a trouble maker as she was a reader.
