Lyles POV.

The ink dripped into the small container which was pushed into a bed of vaseline. I placed the small bottle next to the container before pressing my foot on the pedal as the noise began and my client took a deep breath. "Ready?" I asked as Kyle nodded. I was finally doing his tattoo after cancelling him a little while ago, not that Odette knows that. I began to outline the traditional girl on his thigh as Odette walked in, turning on the TVs. "Too focused on your client to actually open the parlour?" she asked with a laugh as I nodded in response, Kyle laughing.

In all honesty I just wanted to start Kyle as quickly as I could so I could finish slightly earlier. Since I had started Kyles tattoo as soon as I was in the store it meant Odette would have had to turn on the open sign, log in the computers, turn on the printing machines, turn on the TV, and turn on all other lights apart from the row of lights over my booth which I can turn on with the remote which sits on the wooden desk in my booth. I had quickly turned on my light as Kyle was sitting down, too lazy to press the other buttons.

Odette turned the TVs onto our favourite music channel as Twenty One Pilots played loudly, both Odette and I singing along to Car Radio. Suddenly the music was cut off as a news reporter popped up on the screen. "Breaking News. Derry is having another crisis this morning. Over the past few months many children and a few adults have went missing, none being found. The Police of Derry have not even been able to find any traces of them. However, this morning we are not grieving over the disappearances of these children or adults. No. We are grieving the disappearance of Ryan Hutton, our beloved radio and TV presenter. Just yesterday he had an interview with Bill Denbrough and his daughter Lyle. Police confirm that they do not think the two have any involvement with Ryans disappearance. They say the disappearance is the same as that of the children and adults. Yet again, if you have any information, please contact the police. Stay safe, everyone"

The news was cut off by Coldplays Something Just Like This. The parlour was silent, I had even stopped tattooing, not wanting a mishap like the last time this happened. "I swear that the fucking clown is back" Odette muttered to me quietly so Kyle didn't hear her as I nodded, not in agreement, but I wasn't going to suddenly deny something I had always so firmly believed in. She would know something was up then. But I wasn't going to say a definite yes, I didn't want her to believe he was real anymore, not that I was ashamed of him, not at all. But because I didn't want anyone to believe in him. I didn't want him to get harmed. He was a nice soul, really. He just does what he has to. I don't expect anyone to believe me though.

"Do you believe it could be that clown thing?" Kyle suddenly asked me as I looked up at him while dipping the needle into the ink, making sure it was coated well. I had a quick look around to see if Odette was around. "Of course he isn't. My Father killed him" I said boldly as he nodded. "Did you hear what Odette said?" I asked out of curiosity to why he had asked the question. "I heard clown, so that's the conclusion I came to" he smiled as I had to think of a lie, and quick. "She said people are going to think that clown is back. I think everyone knows that he is dead, my Father has told the whole town I'm sure" I added a laugh at the end as Kyle joined in before I began to tattoo him again. "Yeah, I doubt he is real anyway"

I was two and a half hours into the tattoo, only needing to do the writing on the scroll when Kyle decided that he needed a break. I cleaned him up before letting him go to the bathroom as I decided to go outside for a breath of fresh air. "Odette, if he wonders where I am just tell him I'll be five minutes and he has to sit down and have a rest" I explained as she stuck her thumb up before continuing to draw on her design which covered her clients back, the middle section already covered in the stencil, the surrounds being covered in her famous freehand realistic roses.

I took a deep breath as the crisp air flowed over my body and I felt relieved. I ripped off the black gloves as I walked over to the bin which is at the left side of the building, in between the parlour and a run down games store, an alleyway in-between. "Hello, Stranger" was said calmly from behind me while I took a deep breath before turning around to see the green eyes and smirking face of Leon as he stood just inside the alley. "I need to speak to you" I blurted out as he took a drag of his cigarette, the smell of the tobacco filling the air as I inhaled it. "Good thing I am here" he smiled before leaning against the wall as I couldn't help but smile, even if I wanted to be the most serious person at that moment.
