Lyles POV

After screaming Leons name the crowbar was removed instantly. He never broke the bone but the damage that he had caused was just as bad. How I was still breathing was beyond me. I lay on the floor as I looked up at the man who still looked down at me, the rest of them letting me go as I felt relief but also agonising pain. At least the torture was over for now. I shut my eyes tightly as I felt the tears pour out even though I tried to stop them. It was impossible, I didn't even feel human anymore. I could feel nothing but pain in my body. My emotions were gone. I lay on the ground, unable to move as all of the men began to leave, apart from one.

Manny remained sitting next to me as I moved my head slightly to look at him, feeling like my neck was cracking as I did. "Why are you still here?" I managed to grumble as he opened his mouth to answer before stopping. "Can you get up?" he asked as I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "What the FUCK do you think?" I growled as I attempted to move my arm to grab a hold of his leg but I couldn't, it was impossible. "I am going to move you to the hay so you are more comfortable. It will be painful but whatever you do, don't make a noise or it will attract them" he explained as my eyes instantly widened before his hands slipped under my shoulders as he held onto my armpits, pushing me up before sliding his forearms under and beginning to drag me back to the pile of hay.

I hissed as he slid me across the floor, trying to not let out screams as all my weight rested in his arms, my bruises and cuts throbbing as all of the cuts getting dragged along the floor opened up even more, I could feel the skin rip as the warm blood lubricated the floor for the rest of my legs as soon as they became coated in the crimson liquid. I was placed softly against the hay which allowed me to sit up and meant I didn't need to use my muscles to hold me in place. Manny made sure I was as comfortable as I possibly could be before he let me go and returned to my side, sitting cross legged as he looked at all of the different cuts and bruises which covered my body.

"I am sorry about what happened" he apologised as I couldn't control my unamused grunt. "Why are you sorry? It is what you sick fuckers wanted" I spat as I continued to look at the door, avoiding the man next to me as he sighed. "Normally it is, but Sam and I hated it happening to you. There was no need for all that happened to you. Normally it doesn't go that far but you are a fighter, keeping your mouth shut and not doing what we wanted. Normally we want answers which are easier to get but you would NOT call his name. You didn't want him in danger. That just made them want to hurt you more. Sam and I didn't participate for the most part as we felt it was unneeded. We aren't like the rest. But if we refused we would be killed. God, even if I was caught talking to you I would be killed" he explained as the door creaked open, causing me to panic.

Samuel walked in carrying two large kits, one in each hand. I watched him cautiously as he knelt down at the other side of me after placing the kits next to Manny who opened them instantly. I watched as he pulled out two large bottles from one of the kits, not that I knew what the bottles contained. "Hold my hand" Sam demanded as I looked at him in disbelief. "After what YOU did you want ME to hold YOUR hand?! Fuck off" I snapped as Sam instantly retracted his hand. I turned back to look at Manny as he placed down the lid of the first bottle as he poured it onto my leg. "F-FU-FUCK" I stuttered as the pain seemed to become even more unbearable than it already was. I screwed my eyes shut as the antibacterial serum filled each and every cut as it stung. Little did I know it was only going to get worse.

"The cuts are now clean, I can bandage them all but the large one on your right thigh really needs stitches" he pulled out a needle and the clear dissolving thread as I immediately gripped onto Sams hand as he chuckled. "Just break my hand if you need to. Yet again, this will be a lot less painful than what you just endured for hours." Sam sounded completely comforting as I took a deep breath. The needle was pushed into the top of the deep and long slash in my leg as I felt my eye twitch. Sam was right, it felt almost painless compared to the pain I endured and was still feeling the aftermath of.
