I decided to skip the rest of the school day, seeing that Sam and Dean weren't even in the state anymore."Where are we going?" I ask as The Doctor grabbed my hand as we run through the high school corridors. His laughter fills the halls as he replies, "You'll find out soon, Miss Anastasia." He said using my fake name that Sam and Dean had signed me up with back when I started high school. I never did find out why, but they said it was for safety. Soon, we stop running, and my head is pounding and I can barely breathe."How can you run so fast?" I exclaim as I lean against the front garden fence." Been practicing for nine-hundred odd years, Delphie," he says, standing outside of my door. With my breath back, I ask, "You remember where I live?" I asked, smiling when I saw the empty patch where the irises used to be. "I'm the Doctor, Delphie, I know and remember everything," he replied, with a smile. As I got my breath back, I heard a buzzing sound and watched as the door swung open. "That's illegal, you know, breaking and entering," I remarked as he tossed me his sonic screwdriver. "Actually Delphie, it's unlocking and entering, nothing wrong with that," he replied, closing the door behind him. I sighed and walked into the living room, still catching my breath. Just then a call from Sam came. "Who is it? Brothers? Why? Do they know? Oh my god, you're in trouble!" The Doctor said as I throw my hand over his mouth and tackle him onto a sofa as I sat on the other one.
"Who are you talking to?" Sam's voice boomed from the other end of the line. At this, The Doctor laughed and tried to open his mouth to say something to him. I laugh and tried to stall as I mouthed him to be quiet. "Be quiet!" He mouthed back. Eventually, I had to clamp his mouth shut with my hand, slightly amused at his failed efforts to get me in trouble. I could even tell he was smiling beneath my hand--laughing, actually."No one, Sammy. Just running lines at the theatre." I lie and then wince, somehow expecting him to call me on it. The Doctor waited as the line went silent for a moment. "Alright, but make sure that you get home before 7. And go to bed soon!" He said. Finding the opportunity, I took it and laughed. "Ok, see ya and have a good night!" I said as I shut the phone off and threw it to the other side of the sofa. I look across at the Doctor, who was on the other sofa laughing. "You little liar, you! So humany! Lying to brothers and all that!" He laughs, putting his hands on the sides of my face and giving it a shake, the same thing he had done 13 years ago. "This way," He said as we walked up the stairs. "Right then, Delphine Winchester, are you going to show me your room?" he asks, walking up the rest of the stairs as he played with his bow tie. "Why do you want to see my room?" I ask, leading the way, thoroughly confused. Tapping his nose, he raises his eyebrows and grabs my hand again. "Oh, alright then, more surprises" I reply as he leads me to my room. My smile freezes on my face when I see the blue object in the middle of my bedroom. "What-is-THAT?" I stammer. He walks through the door, opens the door to the box and says, "Welcome to my TARDIS." A 50's police box. I couldn't believe my eyes. While I was stood there marveling, the Doctor was walking around a console sort of thing, turning dials and pushing buttons. He came up to me and poked my head slightly. "Well?" he asked. "Well...it's bigger on the inside," I said, making him smile.
As he ran off, I came closer to the console. The panels were so alien, accompanied by tons of lights flashing, and a big lever. "What's that green whirry thing in the middle? I asked, pointing at the green tube in the middle of the console. "That's a time rotor. It means I can go anywhere and anytime I want. I can go all over space, even out of it." He paused as I took in all the information. "I can go back in time, forward in time and even change time," He nodded as I began to talk. "One more thing, why the tweed?" I asked, looking at the dark brown suit he was wearing. Dusting it off slightly, he straightened his bowtie and replied, "Leadworth General Hospital. Some poor person is going around with no clothes on. Still, I don't quite think I quite suited pinstripe. In fact, I think tweed's very fashionable. And cool." He smiled. I just laughed as he went down underneath the console. "Black Holes," He spoke to himself, "Now why does that ring a bell? Hmm.." I followed him down the steps, to see him sit on a harness, suspended from who knows where wearing a pair of funny goggles as he tinkered with some wires on the TARDIS.
"Oh!" I exclaimed in realization, scaring the Doctor half to death, so much he almost fell into the darkness below. "When we met, and you crashed into my back garden and then blew up my scary statue and drank my tea! That's when you said that if I wanted to, I could come with you and you'd show me all the cool things the universe had to offer!" I reminded him, almost yelling now. "But you didn't. You didn't come back the next morning. My brothers said I was crazy, childish, that I was dreaming! I'd almost given up hope, but now you're back here, in my room, in the TARDIS and... I actually got you back! " I exclaimed, tears slowly slipping down as I realized how much I had missed him. I sat down to breathe for a second as I heard feet hit the floor with a thud and a voice. "Hey, Delphie. I'm so so sorry, I did mean to come back the next morning. I thought you were amazing. I just got so caught up in things... but anyways I'm back now!" He finished happily, trying to make me feel better. I looked up at him. "I know that. I believed that you'd come back someday, with your silly bowtie and your sonic screwdriver and TARDIS," I murmured, looking down, listening to the TARDIS hum. "It's just that you were the first adult that has ever taken me seriously and actually was pretty fun," I said. "My brothers' travels got worse a few weeks after I turned 13, they'd leave for weeks at a time and once they were even gone for a whole month!" I said as The Doctor's face morphed into one of guilt. "Come here," He said, trying to smile as he was hugging me, still on his knees.
