you and i,
we are like the stars,
glowing in sudden flickers as we converse,
about the galaxy, satellites and the planets,
questioning our place in the void,
as asteroids strikes us in moments of truth,
could we stay forever this way?
the scientists doubt it and physics won't allow it.
but space is unpredictable,
and we'll have an eternity before the sun explodes.
