your words were like a cup of unstirred tea,
except the tea bag was thrown away.
i thought it was just like your vicious lies and faux demeanor,
so i sipped and bought all of your empty promises.it was half-full now,
it was starting to get a little diluted.
you promised me a future of infinity,
but all i saw was a cloudy beginning.
i wasn't fully convinced anymore,
there wasn't much left until i hit the bottom.still, i drank it in a large gulp,
it tasted horrible but your smile expanded.
the colour of truth remained so muddy,
but yet i trusted you.
i saw sugar at the bottom,
maybe our future would start off bitter,
but sweetness would come along later?i reached a point where liquid was non-existent and solid was present,
it was all the sugar residue.
you suddenly pushed me aside and left me to die,
because the sugar represented your sugar-coated lies.
