like a wilting rose,
i too, shall show you a different colour,
with dwindling courage and countable tears,
i will let the hazel eyes laugh away the fears.

you injected the scarlet in my blood,
you pumped the purple in my veins.
i was a human, conscious and aware,
no longer alienated nor abandoned again.

you guided me through honey deceits,
you swept me away with your demon defeats.
you manipulated me with alluring compliance,
with regards to the law of love that needed no defiance.

in supply to the chain of lies,
economic benefits were rising high.
you seized the opportunity of making it rich,
so you dumped my soul by the ditch.

you'd think after this long i'd write you a poem,
with words so impeccable and meanings indistinguishable.
but you were my everything and nothing at all,
you were the words to my life's,
rising and fall.

with love, an illiterate poet.
