hello there,
the angel from my nightmare,
i somehow knew that your arrival would lead me plunging right into your lair.
i thought i'd never see the light,
until you came by.
beaming in a light so bright,
i thought i could face the night.
but i never knew that i had to fight,
before i could be expelled from fright.
you lured me into a trap so tight,
i was soon drown in a blackened sight.
lost, confused, struggling in plight,
it was either fight or flight.
i chose to fight,
flight was not for the might.
of course i'd lose the fight,
why did i try?
i've lost my might,
your light deserving of my plead and cry.

A/N :
title reference and the first two lines is rightfully owned by blink-182 with their song, "i miss you". this poem was not really with reference to the song but i kinda took the first two lines and transformed it into my own poem. hope you enjoyed my take on it!
