Note: This will always be in Jasmine's Pov unless I say different. Anyways, let's continue.

As I walk through the house, I look for essentials to put in my bag. Today, I was going on a hike then I was going to camp out for a couple of nights. I had nothing better to do and everyone else was 'busy' so why not? I grabbed everything I needed, which included a lot of food, and said bye to my parents. They didn't exactly agree to the idea but I told them that I had nothing to do so they didn't try to argue with me. I left the house and started my journey to the mountain. I decided to play some music on my journey to help me get in the spirit of things. I reached the mountain within an hour so it'll only take me another hour or so to get to the top. I start my hike up and get a phone call.

"Hello?" I answer.
"Jazz?" It was a friend.
"Yeah? What's up?" I ask, confused.

I don't stop walking and my friend answers.

"Where are you?" They ask.
"I'm on a hike. Why?" I reply, confused a little more.
"Oh. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out." They say.

I roll my eyes and start walking faster.

"Well I can't now. I'm halfway up a mountain and I'll be camping for a few days so you're out of luck unfortunately." I say then hang up.

I get about halfway up the mountain and hear a strange sound. I follow the sound until I come across a well. I look down the well and see a glow coming from it. What the hell? I get my phone out and take a picture of the glow and then the noise gets louder. I try to take a closer look but when I do, I fall in. I scream, in hopes that someone will hear me but I didn't crash at the bottom of the well. In fact, when I open my eyes, I find myself against some trees. What the......Okay, this is officially weird. I get up and realize that my leg is hurt. I try to walk it off and walk through this forest. After walking for so long and my leg in agony, I see a town in the distance. I grab my binoculars and take a closer look. This wasn't home......not anymore. These people look normal but the air felt heavy, like something was there but it couldn't be seen. I put my binoculars away and walk towards the town. Maybe someone will be able to help with my leg and I can be on my way again. I pull my phone out and check my location, knowing this would eat my internet. Google maps couldn't figure out where I was so this only confused me more. I get close to the town and stop. I realize I'm going to be questioned on how I got here and where I'm from so I start to think about excuses I could use to get away with it. I hide behind a tree to make sure no one would see me and I hear voices getting closer, making my heart race.

"You're telling me someone opened a portal? To where?" I hear a woman ask.
"Somewhere else in this world. It should just be up here." I hear another woman reply.

I see them walk past and I make sure I'm hidden so that they don't catch me. One had shortish dark hair whilst the other had long blonde hair. I get up and head into the town but when I do, I see an oldish man make someone go to sleep and a purple-pink cloud surrounded them for a second then disappeared. Okay, I'm gonna say it. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!? I quickly limp my way to what looks like a cafe. I need to keep quiet about what I saw but my leg needed medical attention. It was seriously hurting badly. I enter the cafe/diner and I see a nice old lady behind the counter.

"Excuse me." I call to the lady.

She turns around sees me and she smiles.

"Hello there. What would you like?" She asks nicely.
"I was wondering if there was inn nearby or a hotel?" I ask, shyly.
"Oh, I actually own the inn. Would you like a room?" She asks.

I nod.

"Yes please." I answer.
"Ruby, look after the diner for me." The woman says to the girl, serving people their food.

Ruby nods and I follow the woman. We get out of the diner and we go to the building next to the diner.

"Are you from around here?" The woman asks, looking for a room key.
"Uh not really. Guess you could say I'm a traveler but I'm looking for somewhere to settle." I say, hoping she buys the excuse.
"You could always stay here, darling. What's your name?" She says, smiling.

I debated quickly whether I tell her my real name or give her a fake name but I decide to tell her my real name.

"I'm Jasmine." I answer, smiling.
"Oh what a lovely name. Please, call me Granny." She says, returning the same smile.

She gives me my room key.

"Thank you, Granny. This means a lot." I say to her before she leaves.
"It's okay. Oh, and welcome to Storybrook." She says then she leaves.

I get to my room and put my stuff down. Storybrook, huh? Unusual name for a town. Then again, I didn't live in a place with a nice name so I couldn't say anything. But I swear, Storybrook sounds like a different word but I can't think of what it sounds like. I'll think later but for now, I need to find a doctor or someone who knows what's wrong with my leg. I leave my room and lock it behind me and start looking around the town for a doctor or hospital.

"Excuse me love, can I help you?" I hear to my right.

I turn to see a guy dressed in leather and he only has one hand..... The other is a hook? Okay, that's definitely strange.

"I'm fine." I reply to the stranger and continue my search, limping.
"Let me help you." The stranger says and puts my arm around his neck.
"I just need to see a doctor." I mumble quietly.

Without another word, the stranger leads me somewhere and soon enough, we're at a hospital.

"Thank you." I thank the stranger.
"No worries love." The stranger says with a smirk.

I go to walk in the hospital but I soon turn around.

"Wait! I didn't get your name." I say a little loud.
"The names Killian." He says, smiling.

And with that, we both turn opposite ways and I go to see a doctor or nurse.
