Me and my friend, Skylar, sit in my room and none of us said a word. The room was just filled with silence.

"Jasmine." She says, breaking the silence.
"Yeah?" I say, looking up at her.
"Where exactly are we?" She asks.
"I don't know. I wish I could tell you but I can't." I answer, looking down.
"It's okay." She says, putting a hand on my shoulder.

We sit there in silence again until there's a knock at the door. I get up and answer to see Emma and Killian.

"Evening Sheriff. How may I help you?" I ask, not glancing at Killian.
"Can you and your friend come to the station? We'd like to ask some questions." She asks nicely.
"Of course. We'll be there as soon as we can." I say.
"Good. Hook will make sure you come to the station." She says then leaves.

I move out of the way so that Killian can enter.

"Skylar. Get your shoes on. We gotta go to the station." I call out to her.
"Okay!" She shouts back.

I sit down on the couch and Killian just stands there.

"About earlier." He starts off.
"Save it. I understand." I say, not even looking up.
"But next time, I want a real tour of The Jolly Roger." I say, smiling and looking up.

He looks at me and says

"Aye. You and your friend should look at it tomorrow."

I go to say something but Skylar walks out of the bedroom.

"Let's get this done and over with." She says then we leave the inn.

We get to the station and I see Emma and the woman with short dark hair.

"Take a seat." Emma says.

Me and Skylar both take a seat and I get prepared for the questions.

"How did you get here?" The woman with short dark hair asks.
"Well, it's complicated. I was going on a hike because I wanted to spend a few days in the woods. When I reached about halfway, I started to hear a strange noise. I walked towards the noise and found a well with something glowing green from it. I went to take a closer look to see what it was but I fell in and ended in up in the woods nearby." I explain.
"And you?" Emma asks Skylar.
"I was looking for Jasmine when I also heard the strange noise. The same thing happened and here I am. But, not injured." Skylar explains.

Emma looks confused.

"Injured?" She asks.
"When I came through the portal, I went to stand up and my leg had been twisted slightly." I say.

Emma looks at the woman with short dark hair.

"Who would've opened up a portal? Especially somewhere else in this world?" Emma asks the woman.
"I don't know. But whoever it is, they want us exposed to the rest of the world which would be chaos." The short dark haired woman says.

I look at Skylar, confused as all hell as to what's going on. We don't know where we are and they're talking about chaos? Why is my gut telling me to run? Wait......OH CRAP.

"Uhm, are we allowed to go?" I ask shyly.
"For now, yes. Get some rest." Emma says.

Me and Skylar leave the station and I start freaking out.

"Calm down, we're okay." She says.
"No, we're not. When I first arrived, I saw someone put someone else into a sleeping state and a purple cloud thing popped around them. Don't you see? This town is magical." I explain to her.
"If that's true then why are they worried?" Skylar asks.

I start to think. Why would they be worried. Then it hits me.

"Maybe this is the Only town that has magic." I say.

We both looked at each other, shocked to the core. We couldn't leave now. Not without an answer at least. We head back to the room and I take out my phone. I try to see my location using the internet but it can't find my location.

"Not only is this town magical. It's also hidden. That's why they're worried. It's hidden for a reason......but why?" I say then start to think again.
"So. Who's the guy?" Skylar asks.
"Hm?" I look up at her.
"The guy who took us to the station. You two close already?" She says, smirking.
"Oh my god, no! I barely even know him!" I exclaim.
"So you're not denying that you've talked to him?" She says.
"He helped me to the hospital when I first got here then he was meant to give me a tour of his ship.....until he held a sword to my throat." I explain.
"He what?!" She shouts.
"This was just before you popped through the portal. Everyone thought I was some threat to the town." I say, sighing.
"And now?" She says.
"People are probably not gonna trust us but we can't leave here until we know what's going on." I explain to her.

She nods her head in agreement then we head off to bed.

"Oh. And that guy you mentioned?" I say.
"Yeah?" She replies.
"He's taking us on a tour of his ship tomorrow." I mumble then turn off the light.
"And you didn't tell me this earlier?" She says.
"It never popped up until now." I say, laughing.

We talk for a little while longer then both decide to go to sleep. I toss and turn in my bed and after 30 minutes, I still haven't began to drift off. I decide to get up, put my shoes on and take a walk. I didn't take my jacket since the room was way too warm but when I got outside, it was a different story. It was nippy. I check the time and it's 9 in the night. I stroll through the town and decide to go to the docks to look at the sea. I get to the docks and see the moon shining brightly. The sea is lit from the moonlight and I take a deep breath in. This town is beautiful so why would anyone want to hide it? Apart from the magic part, obviously. It's quiet and peaceful so I decide to sit on the ground and just stare at the sea. I look up at the sky. I think about all the good times I've had in the past and then the horrible memories flood my mind. The ones of my ex, fake friends, heartbreak. I shake the memories away and try to think positive. I lean back against the lamp post and sigh. I mean, I wanted to escape everything back home.......but I didn't want to disappear this far away.......did I? No, I couldn't. Everything I love is back home. I feel my eyes grow heavy but I try not to doze off because I'm outside in the cold. I take my phone out of my back pocket and send Skylar a text.

Hey, if I'm not in the room when you wake up, it's probably because I've gone for a walk. Let me know when you're awake.

I send the text and put my phone away.

"You know, if I didn't know better, I'd say you are having some trouble." I hear someone say.

I recognize it as Killian's voice so I don't look behind me.

"I'm fine. Just had trouble sleeping so I came out here to look at the sea." I say.
"In the cold without a jacket?" He points out.
"Yeah. The cold is refreshing." I sarcastically say.
"The real reason?" He asks.
"I didn't think it would be this cold and I didn't want to wake my friend up." I answer

I hear Killian's footsteps get closer.

"And why are you sitting out here?" He asks, taking a sip from his flask.
"Needed to do some thinking." I say, looking at my hands.

He offers his flask to me but I shake my head.

"You know, this world is a funny place." I say randomly.
"How come, love?" Killian asks.
"One minute, I was hiking and about to set up camp when suddenly, I'm here." I explain, looking at the sky.
"One minute, I'm trying to forget my troubles, then? All my troubles come to me all at once." I add on.
"What kind of troubles?" Killian asks.
"All sorts. Friends, family, exes, love, health. Hell, it's like I'm the definition of trouble." I say, chuckling.

We sit there in comfortable silence for so long, my eyes start to feel really heavy. And soon enough, I fall asleep.
