~Kaitlyn's POV~

"I can't believe it's over," Calum spoke as he came down the stairs.

"But we still have the Aus leg of the tour," I answered.

"America was great," Emily cheered, "Can't wait to tour here again!"

Emma, Michael, and CeCe came walking down the stairs. Emma was biting her lip; she looked quite anxious.

"You okay, Emma?" I asked, biting back a smile.

She replied, "Besides the nausea, I'm okay."

"It's just a tattoo," Emily put in.

"That's on my body forever! What if it gets seriously messed up? Or I whimp out and can't finish it?" Emma yelled.

"Oh, you'll be fine!" Michael laughed, poking her side.

She punched his shoulder and I spoke up, "Where's Luke and Ash?"

"I don't know," Calum answered, "Probably upstairs."

I walked up the spiral staircase and entered the dim hallway. I called out the two boys names, but no one had answered. I checked a couple of the bedrooms, but no one had appeared.

"Guys!" I yelled," This isn't funny! C'mon!"

I walked out to the balcony and saw the two boys staring at Ashton's laptop. I walked closer to them with my hands on my hips, "Did you not hear me yelling?"

"No, no, no," Luke yelled, "Look!"

"We can't believe it. Holy shit," Ashton gawked, "Think how Emma will react."

I looked closer at the screen to see an email from Hopeless Records. As I read through it my heart dropped. It had said that Alex Gaskarth would arrive in Los Angeles on August 12, and was interested in writing with both of the bands. Attached to the email was Alex's email adress.

"Did you contact him?" I yelled.

"We're just waiting for a-" the laptop chimed, "There it is."

Ashton opened the email and we all read it hastily. It stated-in a very laid back manner-that he would absolutely love to write with us. He gave us a studio location and a time.

"Wanna scare Emma shitless with this?" Ashton smirked.

Luke and I both nodded our heads. We agreed on having her read the emails out loud to the others, videotaping their-mainly Emma's-reaction. I laughed at the idea of putting it on Keek, which I obviously would.

"Emma!" Luke yelled as we ran down the stairs, "We have some emails for you to read!"

We strolled into the living room where she was sitting, "Why me?"

"Just do it," Ashton smiled.

"I swear if its one of those pop up Bloody Mary images," she mumbled, settling the laptop on her thighs.

"Dear Lost In The Echo and 5 Seconds Of Summer," Emma began to read, "We have noticed a growing interest in your careers by a couple of our signed musicians and managers. The people who have taken the most interest are the members of All Time Low. They discovered you on Twitter because of your online following, and have wanted desperately to write with you since.

The band will be in Los Angeles starting the 12th to tie up loose ends on their next album. They understand if you do not want to or cannot collaborate, for this was sprung on you last minute. If you do however, attached to this email is Mr. Gaskarth's email. You may set up your meeting with him.

Thank you for your consideration and cooperation!

-Hopeless Records team."

It didn't even take a moment for her to scream. The others could not believe it, and looked around in astonishment, but Emma-she was absolutely going insane. We all laughed at her reaction.

I quickly uploaded it to Keek and got ready to record her again as Luke yelled, "There is one more!"

Emma sat down with a broad smile on her face, "Hey! I would absolutely love to write with you guys! I love your sound and message as a whole." She did not read aloud where the studio was located for privacy reasons. "Can't wait to meet and work with you all. Especially Emma! She seems like a riot! Thanks again! -Alex."

This time she cried. Not just a few years here and there. No, she full on sobbed. We couldn't help but laugh at her reaction; she truly was a fangirl at heart.

"Oh my god!" she cried, "I'm meeting All Time Low. We're meeting All Time Low! Fuck, we are writing with them! Oh my god."

Emma wrapped her arms around Michael and cried into his chest; you could see him biting his lip, trying to hold back a laugh. He smiled down at her, and we all chuckled.

"I know, I know," Michael smiled, "You're meeting your idols."

"No, Michael," she wiped her eyes, "I'm meeting my lifesavers."

We all became quiet after she said that, luckily the recording time had run out. She wiped her eyes again and engulfed herself in Michael's embrace once more. Everyone looked around at each other, making awkward eye contact. There was a secret understanding that this encounter was more than just meeting her idols; it had a serious sentimental value to her.

"C'mon," he whispered, wiping the smeared makeup from her eyes, "Lets go get'cha cleaned up. We have to leave in an hour."

Emma nodded her head and followed him up the stairs. They really did care for one another. I was starting to think that maybe Luke and I weren't meant to be together. We sure didn't look like that.

"Guys," Ashton spoke up, "I think we should be more careful around how we act with her. I know that's how we always act with her, and she always just laughs along with us. I really think the medication, or depression is catching up with her. She hasn't been the same lately."

CeCe sniffled from beside him, "I'm worried about her."

"We all are," Calum answered.

"No," CeCe wiped her eyes, "I'm seriously worried."

"She used to self-harm," Emily spoke, "Didn't she?"

CeCe sniffled once more, "I think she did."

"Well we have to find out. Don't we?" Luke asked.

"No, no, no. That's a really bad idea," Ashton answered, "She could explode on us, or worse."

"Relapse," I stated, looking up, "You're worried she will relapse."

CeCe nodded, "You can't tell her I told you this. You can't tell Michael either. Again, I don't know if she has-ya know-hurt herself. I'm just worried all this touring is gonna get to her. When it does, all hell will break lose. She is like a firecracker; one, tiny thing will spark it and everything will explode."

After a few minutes of absolute silence, Michael and Emma came back down the stairs. They all left for the tattoo parlor entitled Shamrock. Luke and I were the only ones left.

"Luke," I spoke and he turned to me, "We need to talk."
