"INKY, COME ON!" Not a thing wasn't blurry now. It was just... All so weird and unexpected that Ink couldn't understand what in the Multiverse was going on. He could see Error, hear Error, but not talk to Error? How did that even make any sense? "INKY!" Ink shook his head and squinted, trying to reveal his voice to Error, who just glared down at him still. "Wait- wh- Did you just..- Did you just call me... "I-Inky"?!" Realizing again that Error couldn't hear him, Ink grabbed his paint brush off the surface of the grass and slowly took a step foward Error. The glitchy skeleton didn't move, he just acted like Ink was frustrated with him, or just shy to talk. "I said nothing," spat Error, looking back up at the creature. Ink frowned and shook his head. He laid a hand on Error's shoulder and sighed. "Off. Now." Error glared back at him, but when he did, he saw no Ink, just the rest of EpicTale which was... On "FIRE!"
"Blue! Blue?! BLUE!" Fell raced across the creature's unmoving body, stepping in the spots where the metal was visable. He landed on the ash - filled ground of EpicTale and took a look around. "Where is he...- BLUE!" "Fell...?" Starting to run again towards Blueberry, Fell's coat almost flew off and he had to grab it before it went. "Why are you here? Are you okay? Is UnderFell okay?!" Fell looked down at Blueberry and then scowled up at the beast. It had scraped poor Blueberry down like a dummy in a training room. "Are you okay? I swear, I will rip that- THING up piece by p-" And he was interrupted from a hug from Blueberry. He blushed-this was going to be a longer day than he thought.
Unnoticeably, Cross stepped silently toward Error. He needed to kill the "glitch" before he caused anything else bad to happen. All he and Chara wanted was their AU back, everything would be great after that. Wouldn't it...?
Stepping back, Gaster did the only thing he could think to do in a situation like this-struggle. As hard as he could, he turned his whole body around in the tar like substance, but he couldn't even move at all. It stung so bad and hurt like he was on fire, or worse - his whole body was in lava. "HELLO?!" He gasped. No answer came. What would he do? He would for sure be doomed no matter if anyone came or not. Then the best thing happened and it did save his life. "Arial?!"
The creature shook and more tar burst out of the cracks in it. Cross' sword glinted in the faded now stars, stepping through the dirt and then onto grass towards Error. He gripped his sword tighter and glared. He was about to do this. A few more steps apart from Error now, but Cross stopped. What was stopping him...? "DO IT YOU IDIOT!" Chara snapped at him. He could almost feel her slapping the side of his skull in determination. "...Urgh... I WILL.. AVENGE ALL OF THE UNIVERSE!" Cross swung his sword over his back and rushed Error, his mouth gaping open in a yell. He lifted the sword up and started to smile, but the slash was stopped. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING, CROSS?!" It was Ink. The creator of all universes had saved the destroyer of all universes. Just now - infront of Cross.
Error stared in terror with his eyes wide open as the blade sliced errily through Ink's palms. The creator burst out in a scream of pain and tears fell down his cheeks. It was too much for him, Error could tell when he whaled again and kicked back Cross (he had never on purpose hur any being before) and pointed Broomie at him. "YOU DARE TRY TO KILL HIM?!" He yelled, scowling down at the shaken Cross, who had fallen onto his back and lifted a hand to cover from Ink. "...Y-You... Saved.. My li-" "I DID, NOW GET BACK!- EGH- DREAM?!" The sun cape flung Ink aside and Dream helped his old friend up and pushed an arm under his to help Cross walk. "Are you okay...?" He asked, blushing yellow lightly. "Y..Y-Yeah!" Cross looked as if he had just felt Chara yank him into a pit and burry him in a grave of his own. Error held the furious Ink back, rainbow blood staining both of their hands as Error took his. "Inky, stop!"
Tears flooded from Ink's eyes and he turned to look up at Error. "He tried to hurt you... Error..." "I know, but you can't do this." And that was when Ink new who he could trust from now on. "You can hear me," Ink smiled.
