 “Sometimes, I sit alone under the stars

and think of the galaxies inside my

heart, and truly wonder if anyone will

ever want to make sense of all that

I am.”

-Chapter Ten-

 somehow managed to wiggle out of the gargantuan, blue quilt lined with pink, green, and yellow, making no design in particular, and drag myself to Zayn's dresser. My hair was in the precise way I left it, with only a few fly aways spotted on the bottom back of my head, and right next to my pierced ear lobe. I placed my hand on my neck, my pointed chin supported by my large thumb.

 Letting out an exasperated sigh at myself for no particular reason, I began my exercises the physical therapists said was best for me to do. They weren't necessarily prescribed for me to do them, I did them just enough with my appointments, but for the speeding up process, I chose to.

 Twice a day, to be exact.

~~~
"No, more like horrible," I scrunched my soft face up into the most disgusting face I could , and narrowed my eyes at Zayn, who was, trying not to fall out laughing. "It is though," I tried to sound convincing, but my acting skills had failed me any justice. "I mean, why in the world would you buy this type of bacon? What is it, coyote, hm? And I don't like these eggs. Nope," I dropped my fork, pretending to be completely done, and crossed my weakened arms from my exercises. My eyebrows raised.
 "You don't?" he teased, leaning on the table while chewing a biscuit. He smirked and reached over to my full plate and grabbed the other biscuit, and to be completely honest, I was looking forward to that. He bit out of the the biscuit, making this over exaggerated noise, his voice bleeding through the flakey bread. I smiled, only slightly, while he tipped his head back, and closed his eyes, moaning, thinking about how much I really want that biscut. "You're missing out."
 "Oh, come on," I sighed. "No way Zayn Malik, my bestfriend, could make such a biscut. You clearly over exaggerate."
 That's when Zayn laughed, an even though most the human population would predict that I'm used to my bestfriend's laughs, I'm utterly amazed of how perfect it is,"No, love. My dear friend Harry taught me how. He has worked in the local bakery for some time, now."
 "Harry?" I questioned,"Woah, man. Zayn has friends."
 He laughs and threw a piece of bread at me,"Quite a few actually."
"Like who?" I mumbled through my eggs and leaned over the table like no body's buisness. He smirked, and tossed the rest of the buiscut up and catching it in his hand. A sigh left my small lips,"Seriously."
 He stopped throwing the busicut, and layed it on the table, seriousness masked his body language instantly,"You wouldn'y believe me if I told you, Avery."
 "Try me," I swallowed my eggs and whispered.
He becokened me to him, letting me have a seat on his lap and he kissed my forehead. I suddenly grew nervous over this subject. My heart beat went up, I could feel it in the roof of my mouth, and I swallowed spit way more that I intended to.
 "I want you to know I had no say in this, Avery. None. And try not to judge me too harshley," he looked me dead in the eye, and smiled slightly. "Okay?"
"Mhm."
He took a deep breth, deeper than I ever though was possible for a human. I continue to swallow, clasping my hands together and lean into him, trying to comfort him as much as I possibly can. He should know that he can tell me everything. I might not know how to emotionally respond, but I'll try. So, I kissed him on the cheek, barely, just my lips slid over his jaw, "You can tell me when you're ready."
He sighed and hugged me closer,"Well, Ave. I-" he looked down. "I'm friends with the Power rangers."
 And that's when I knew this was all a joke, and started to laugh so hard, I held my stomache on the floor. Anyone else would say it would be embarrassing, even to your best friend. But Zayn was right there, still hugging me while both our faces turned bright red, and our lungs became old and tierd of gasping for air.
And in this instant I vow the stars, the galaxy, and everything surrounding us, felt what we did, and was content with life, even for just a split-second.
