Omegaverse

Jet another chapter from your wierd ass writer.

When an Omega gets sad, distressed or are in there heat they make a Omega's nest. This nest comforts them and make them relax, the nest is mostly made of the Omega's mates stuff like clothes, pillows, blankets etc and if they have cub the nest is most likely made of stuff of both the parents to also calm the cub. but if a Omega hasn't found a mate yet then they make the nest out of stuff from close ones like there family or friends.

If an Omega has a mate then usually there mate cuddles with them in the nest, if it is there heat then it gets a bit more exciting.

The team was supposed to meet up at lunch, about the mystery of the stuff the paladins where missing today, but they missed a paladin, Lance.

Everybody was waiting for him to come. They expected him to be late like always, but this time he still didn't show up after an hour everyone got a bit worried.
"Where is Lance?" Shiro asked looking at the others hoping they would know. Everybody looked at each other also hoping for someone to know but nobody did. "I haven't seen him all day actually." Hunk said now remembering he didn't see his best friend in a while.
"Neither did i." Now Pidge said and like that everyone noticed they haven't seen the blue paladin that day.

"Do you think he is okay?" Hunk asked anxiously biting his fingernails.
"He shouldn't be in danger, if I am correct he should still be in the castle." Allura said, she was thinking of possibilities and so was Pidge.

"Lance is an Omega right?" Pidge asked
"I think so" Shiro said.
"Hunk does he have a mate" Pidge asked again, "Not that I know of." Pidge put her hand on her chin standing in a thinking state.
"Okay so Lance is an Omega, he doesn't have a mate so far we know and if he had one he is far away from him/her, we are the closest to him cause where stuck in space and all are stuff is gone. I think he made his Omega nest." Everybody nodded in agreement.

"Why would he make a nest tho?" Keith asked Shiro looked up to him and said,
"You don't know why Omega's build nests?" Keith shook his head.
"I only learned what Alfa's do cause I'm one, but for Omega's I only learned that they can get pregnant and that they make nests but I don't know why." Pidge put up her glasses getting ready to teach the lesson of the day to Keith.

"Omega's build nests for mainly three reasons only. One if there sad because the nest comforts and relaxes them cause it's made out if stuff from the important ones of the Omega. Two if there distressed the same reason as one but more severe and three if there in heat they make it for relaxing cause there exciting and if there mate sees it and smell that there in heat they cuddle and help there Omega. There's also a separate reason but that's not important cause we don't have a cub here."

Keith nodded in understanding
"So either Lance is not okay or in his heat." He said to clarify, Pidge nodded and turned to Shiro as the rest hoping he knows what to do. "There is a chance for Lance to be in his heat, if we find him and he is it's the best to leave him alone, but if he needs help we need to comfort him." The rest hummed in agreement.
"We don't want an Alfa near Lance for if he is in his heat. Hunk you're a Beta right?"
"Yes I am." He clarified.
"Okay I want you to look for Lance and figure out what is happening, if he is in heat your Beta won't take over like an Alfa's would. Plus you're his best friend." Shiro said.
"Wait Shiro, isn't it handier if we look at the cameras from the castle to see where he is? It would take less time and we can get faster to him." Allura said. Shiro nodded and they all went to go look through the security footage.

Pidge jumped up and adjusted her glasses.
"I found him." She said, the rest came over to her looking for where the boy hid.
"He is in a room on the West wing three doors to the right and he is in a nest." She informed the team, Hunk got a pat on the shoulder from Shiro. He got the message and began his journey to the West wing.

Hunk arrived at the door, he knocked a few times trying to get permission to get in. He heard a grunt from inside so soft it was easy to miss. He opened the door peeking from behind the floor to reveal a huddled up Lance in a mountain of stuff. Hunk walked closer to Lance getting a better few of the stuff he took. There where Hunks pillows cause they were the softest, Shiro's blankets because they were the biggest, Pidge's tech was surrounding the piles of soft things Lance was curled up on. It would make sense cause her sent is probably more on her tech then her bed spread. Hunk thought.

But what surprised Hunk the most was to see Lance cuddling with Keith's jacket.
"So there is where Keith's jacket went off to." Hunk mumbled to himself, he then realized that as he came in he didn't smell any of Lance's sent, at least not strong. He looked at Lance face seeing a trail of dried tears going over is puffed, red cheeks.
"Definitely not in his heat." He shook Lance a bit to wake him up, he didn't budge.

Hunk walked out knowing someone else was better to comfort him.

"He isn't in heat, he just needs someone to comfort him." Hunk said walking in.
"Why haven't you comfort him?" Pidge asked. "Because someone else is better to comfort him, especially an Alfa." Now everyone was looking at Shiro and Keith the only Alfa's there.
You know what, I'll do it." Keith said,he wanted to walk to Lance but got hold back by Shiro. "You sure, you're not the most experienced in this." Shiro let go of Keith's shoulder looking at the younger Alfa.
"I know but I can at least try and if it doesn't work I'll send you in." Shiro nodded in understanding and with that Keith left to go to Lance.

He entered the room seeing Lance still curled up in a ball. He walks towards Lance, he sees the boy clutching on his jacket. Keith lowers himself now with his knees on the soft material, he lays his hand on Lance's shoulder gently shaking him. It works and the Omega turns to him with tiered eyes.

"Hey, Lance what's wrong?" Lance now fully turns to him knees up his chest and hugging himself. "You don't want to talk about it?" Keith asked Lance shook his had.
"Do you want me to stay?" Lance nodded, making space for Keith to enter his nest. The two moved for awhile to get into a comfortable position. Eventually the comfortable position was them cuddling together, Keith wrapped his arms around Lance and brushing through his Choco brown hair. Lance lay with his head on Keith's chest hugging him tight around the waist and legs tangled up with each other.

The two lay there for some time just listening to the breathing of one another.
"Wanna tell me why you're upset?" Keith whispered in a sweet voice that calmed Lance in an instant.
"I'm stressing and my mind isn't helping me." Keith rubbed circles on his back making the boy relax with his touch.
"I get your stressing, but we are all here for you, you don't have to bare everything by yourself let us carry some of your weight too." Keith kissed Lance on top of his head making the blue paladin nuzzle more into his chest.

"I like you Keith." Lance said in a small voice making him sound so vulnerable.
"I like you too Lance, I mean it." Keith grabbed one of Lance's hands rubbing his thumb over it, making Lance look up to him. He kissed his nose and smiled at him, Lance smiled back now both looking at each other with a gaze full of love.

Keith started to smell something sweet, it was a floral sent with a hint of sea.
He looked at Lance who's cheeks were a bit tinted, he then realized something Lance was beginning his heat. Keith sat up immediately getting a protest from Lance.
"I should go." Keith said looking at the disappointed look from Lance.
"Don't go." Lance grabbed Keith's arm pulling him back, the two where now laying together again gazing in each other's eyes.

Keith leaned in kissing Lance softly on the lips, cupping his cheek with his hand.
"Are you sure?" He asked, Lance just smiled
"Yes." Keith put his other hand on Lance's waist pulling him closer to him, he buried his nose into the crook of Lance's neck. Inhaling his sweet, sweet sent Keith growled and smiling.
"You're going to regret this." Smirking against his neck.
"No i'm not." Lance kissed Keith's cheek and looking at him again, smiling as did Keith.

A few months later
"THE BABY IS COMING!!"
