It's been weeks since Lance last saw Matt, he doesn't know if he is okay or if he escaped, but all he knows is that Matt doesn't fight and that Lance is in this dreadful place for almost a month.

His first fight in the gladiator ring was awful

The next day Lance was dragged out of his new cell, heading towards a cheering crowd. The sound got louder and the fear grew deeper inside of Lance, he didn't want to do this he was almost sure he was going to die. They dragged him further through the hall eventually arriving at a door, the Galra men opened it showing a room with bars at the other side of the room. Behind the bars was the field that everyone despises who where brought here to fight for there lives.

Lance was forced to stand up hands still chained up. He was brought up to the bars where he saw the cheering crowd excited for the slaughter to start. They handed the Cuban boy a dagger as weapon, taking the chains off of him and right as he was free he was pushed right into the gladiator ring. Lance looked around seeing thousands up on thousands of Galra soldiers cheering on for the sickening entertainment they pleased to see.

"SILENTS!" A voice roared over the crowd making the stadium silent. The man who spoke too in front of the head chair, a place only the high ranks can sit to enjoy the entertainment. The man had a sly grin plastered up on his face, making Lance shiver at what the man had in mind for him.
"Let me introduce to you the blue paladin of Voltron!" He said, followed by booing from the crowd of monsters.
"He will be our entertainment for tonight, let's see how worthy this man is." The man continued, "I prince Lotor declare to let the game begin!"

The crowd cheered as a gate on the other side opened revealing a Galra soldier. He was big and buff, giving an impression of  any other scary bulky guy and of course the guy had a weapon a sword to be exact. Lance took his stands signaling that he was ready, when the soldier spotted Lance he immediately headed for the blue paladin. Lance was to slow and was hit in his side, he screams in pain feeling the warmth of the blood souping a bit out of the wound, luckily it wasn't a deep cut. Lance quickly regained his standing position and was ready to fight the Galra.

The man charged for Lance again, this time Lance could read his move and side stepped to the left making the Galra stumble and fall to his knees. The sword fell to the ground and Lance went for it, the soldier got back to his footing and tried to regain his weapon. The two dashed for the sword that laid a few feet away, Lance was quicker and grabbed the sword pointing it immediately at his target.

Lance stabbed the man down, the Galra fell to the ground bouncing a bit. The Galra tried to grab his weapon again, but Lance wasn't about to let that happen. He stabbed the man in the chest twice to make sure his own life was safe, Lance stood up from the ground he was kneeling on before. The cheers rang in his ears the horrible cheers for killing someone, a son of a mother, maybe a lover to his wife, a father of a child.

After that fight Lance did a lot more, killing more men, monsters and even prisoners. The first time he fought against a prisoner he tried to only injure him so he couldn't kill him if Lance refused to kill the other, but after the fight Lance was horrible punished by being electrocuted by Haggar for hours. So the second time he had to kill the man, with much regret Lance did and he still feels guilty.

With the amount of times Lance got dragged around the hallway's to fight for the millionth time and understanding bits of what the soldiers said, Lance made a map to get out of this hell hole and he was going to do it when he knew he wouldn't fight anymore. Lance was a bit jealous at Shiro for only entering the gladiator ring once and it being a monster, Lance needed to fight prisoners and soldiers. He already felt guilty for taking someone's life away in the battlefield, so if he can he will stun them instead of killing them he even asked Coran to help make his guns stun option last longer, so if he stuns them they wouldn't be awake for a few hours. But most of the cases he needed to kill, and being a teenager forcing to kill hundreds of life's was a nightmare.
