"THOSE TWO GIRLS HAVE DATES FOR THE HOGSMEADE TRIP." Draco informed Blaise particularly, seating down at the Slytherin table next to Theo while pointing at two Slytherin girls who he knew were in the fifth year. "It's us."
Blaise turned to look in the direction of the two girls for a few seconds before turning back to Draco in a disinterested manner, "All this because I said it seems like you fancy Granger?"
"You told me to prove I don't fancy Granger." Draco said hastily.
"Well, neither one of them sparks any interest in me."
"You're so hard to please." Draco scoffed in unbelief.
"I know." Blaise smirked.
The light-haired boy rolled his eyes. "You know, I think you're just afraid you can't keep the girls entertained and your reputation is gone as the mystery guy."
"I actually think that is true." Theo agreed, nodding.
Draco and Theo's teasing about this went on for a couple of minutes until Blaise sighed and said,
"Fine! Pick any at least decent looking and acting girl and I'll go on a date with her if it will make you shut up."
"And what if she doesn't agree to go with you?" Draco smirked, crossing his arms against his chest.
"That is very unlikely... but then I'll go to the stupid double date with you."
Draco started looking around the Hall with a sneaky grin. Theo then blurted out suddenly,
"Black. Zoe Black."
Blaise narrowed his eyes at him, actually making Theo feel intimidated for a second. Then he said, "You two haven't had enough with this particular subject already? How boring must your own lives be as your so focused on mine?"
Draco let out a laugh.
"What?" Theo asked, turning to look at Draco.
"Actually, now that I think about it Zoe is perfect for this." Draco said thoughtfully. He fixed his position brightly. "Yes, you have to ask her on a date with you."
"What do you mean?" Theo wondered, referring to Draco's comment about the Gryffindor girl.
"Because she isn't going to say yes." Draco chuckled. "Zoe has never gone on a date with anyonebecause she has never said yes if someone has had enough courage to ask her. Everyone heard she even said no to Roger Davies. He's two years older, a Quidditch captain and good looking! Any other girl in Hogwarts would've said yes."
"Why do you think she said no?" Theo asked curiously.
Blaise tried to appear disinterested even though his ears perked up as he waited for Draco to answer.
