Chapter 15

Emma's POV

Emma wakes up in some sort of basement and she is handcuffed to a pole of some sort. What's going on, where am i? Hello?! Mom! Dad! Someone walks down the stairs with a hood over her head. Who are you? What do you want? "Oh darling, I'm your mother, I just was a relationship with you". What the hell?? You are so freaking crazy!!! I should've had my dad arrest you when I had the chance! Amelia squeezes Emma's leg. Emma winces in pain. "Oh my dear, does your leg hurt?" Oh look at you, so caring, you must be the craziest mother of the year! Amelia kicks Emma's leg. Emma screams in pain. "That is no way to speak to your mother!" You are NOT my mother!!!! You're just some crazy woman that happens to be the person who have birth to me! Amelia kicks her leg again, Emma fight back the tears and screams again. My dad will find you and he will throw you in jail!!! She rolls her eyes and goes upstairs. Emma's leg is throbbing, she's in a lot of pain, she eventually falls asleep. She is having a nightmare, she tosses and turns all night, she sometimes talks in her sleep. Dad... Mom... help, I'm scared. She says to herself while sleeping. Amelia comes downstairs and begins to laugh, and that wakes Emma up. "Do you really think that they will find you?" They will! And you're gonna pay for this, I swear on it!!

David's POV (At work)

David is getting frustrated, Emma has been missing for 6 hours and he can't figure out who took her. He pushes everything off of his desk... aggressively. It frightened everyone. I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to scare you. "I know David". "Mr. Nolan, what about Emma's biological mom?" What about her, a man took Emma, not a woman. "Couldn't she have hired someone though?" Regina, you are a genius! David kisses her on the forehead. Okay, tell me everything you know about her. "Well Emma didn't really say much about her to me, but she might have told Killian". Well, we're gonna go talk to this Killian kid. "Can I come with you guys?" Sure.

Regina's POV (At Killian's house)

Regina knocks on Killian's door, he answers. Killy!! "Gina, what's going on? Why are Swans parents here?" She's... She was kidnapped. "Oh my God". "Kid, look... did Emma ever talk to you about her biological mother?" "Yeah she told a little, come in. She told me that her name's Amelia Swan... wait is she the one that took Swan?! Yeah Killy, we think so. "Emma told me that she had a bad feeling about her, and that she was crazy!" Snow, Regina, and Killian began to cry, but David was doing everything in his power not to cry. "Swan must miss Leo so much". "What hun?" "Swan, she must miss Leo, she loves that kid with everything in her, he's all she ever talks about". Snow stands up and hugs him, then Regina gives him a hug, then David shakes his hand. "Thanks kid, I appreciate the help". "No problem Sir".

Emma's POV

Emma kept yelling at Amelia, so Amelia started to walk towards her. She picked up a pair of scissors off of the steps and started cutting Emma's cast off. What are you doing you're a crazy psycho?!? Get away from me! When Amelia was cutting the cast off, Emma kept struggling, so Amelia stabbed her in her leg. Emma screamed and her eyes began to water up. What the hell?!?! "Stop struggling". I'll stop struggling when you take me home!! Amelia took the cast off, then took it upstairs. Emma mumbled to herself. I just want to go home... I miss my family.

Snow's POV  (At the sheriffs station)

Snow and David are doing research trying to find out everything they can about Amelia Swan. Emma has been missing for nearly 20 hours. Then suddenly, Snow found something. David, I think I found something! "What?" She gave birth to Emma at an insane asylum here in Maine, but I can't access her medical files. "Snow, I'll be back in half an hour". Where are you going?? I'm getting a warrant for her medical files". How, it's 10:00 David? "A judge owes me a favor."

David's POV (30 minutes later)

Snow, let's go. "Where?" To an insane asylum. (They arrive at the Central Maine Sanitorium in Fairfield, Maine 20 minutes later.) They go up to the door and start beating on it an orderly soon answered the door. "What's going on?" Hello Ma'am, I'm Sheriff Nolan from Storybrooke, Maine, and this is my wife, I have a warrant for the medical files of Amelia Swan. "Amy? What'd she do?" She kidnapped our daughter. "Oh my God, here... follow me". (5 minutes later she handed David a very thick file) then she grabbed Snows hand. "Wait... I may know something that might help". What is it? "She used to tell me about a place that she was going to take her daughter when she was released from custody". Where?! "There's an abandoned house right here in Fairfield, it's 2 blocks away". Oh my God. "What is it?" Emma is her biological daughter... "We adopted when she was 6, does Amelia have any triggers?" "Yeah, she has violent outbursts when she's called crazy". "Oh David..." I know Snow. Let's go. Thank you so much for your help ma'am. David picks up his police radio. Requesting back up at 1257 S 54th street Fairfield, Maine. All Fairfield units respond!

Emma's POV

Emma is still in a lot of pain, she can't keep her leg straight without her cast. Amelia comes back downstairs. HEY CRAZY, BRING ME BACK MY CAST!!! Amelia picks up the scissors and walks over to Emma and stabs her in the stomach. Emma tries to stop the bleeding, she's just about to give up hope when she hears a loud noise. She tries to tell his name but she can't, she's too weak. Amelia gets behind her and holds the scissors to Emma's neck. David runs downstairs. "Emma! Emma are you down here??" Dad... over here. She says in a weak shaky voice. "Drop your weapon Amelia... Drop it!!!" "And why would I do that Sheriff?" "Because, if you don't, I will surely put a bullet in your brain". Daddy... I'm scared, she stabbed me... I don't wanna die. "Hey princess, look me in the eyes, you are going to be fine! "I don't know sheriff, that looks like a pretty nasty cut, don't you think?" Amelia raises the scissors and lunges for Emma's neck, then deputy Murphy comes up from behind David and shoots her. Uncle Tommy? Snow hears the gunshot and runs In the house and comes downstairs and sees David putting pressure on Emma's stomach. "I need medical, I repeat I need medical". "EMMA, sweetie, don't close your eyes!" Mom... The paramedics come rushing downstairs and take Emma to the nearest hospital.
