Chapter 20

Emmas POV (Monday at school)

Killian! "Hey Swan, so um something happened... at your place". Yes, I'm aware of that... I was there. "Should we talk about that thing?" Yes... We kissed... "Yeah, that happened". It did... "Emma, I like you... A lot, I have for a while and i-". Emma smiles. You do? "I do". So do I... "Emma, would you like to go on a date with me?" I would like that Killian... But it might have to wait a while. Killian looked confused at Emma. I'm grounded. "Ahh I see, and I'm willing to bet that your dad doesn't like me anymore". He'll just have to get over it. Killian kissed her on the forehead and went to class. "Bye love".

After school

"Hey sweetie, let's talk about your grounding". Okay mom, how long? "2 months" 2 months mom??? It was 1 stupid lie! "Emma, watch your tone with me!" Ugh! "Emma, it was 1 stupid lie, 1 very stupid, very big lie. So your punishment is 2 months no leaving to go to Regina's, no tv, no music, and no phone". Mom! That is not fair at all! Ugh!! "Drop the attitude Emma, right now!" Well, since I'm your prisoner, can you at least help me up to my cell?! Snow rolled her eyes and helped Emma to the top of the steps. I can go the rest of the way on my own, thanks for nothing! "Emma, do you want me to bring you something to eat?" Not really hungry mom... bye. Snow was getting frustrated with Emma, but she just left the room and went downstairs.

David's POV (after work)

A few hours later, David gets home and Snow just finished making dinner. "David, will you take this up to Emma... good luck". David knocks on Emma's door. What? "I have your dinner princess". Not hungry dad. "Emma, you have to eat". Whatever, just leave the food and get out please. David leaves and goes back downstairs. Snow, a warning would've been nice. "A warning?" Yes, a warning that our daughter was possessed by some sort of demon. Snow laughed. So, why is she so grouchy? "I told her what her punishment for lying to us was".

AROUND MIDNIGHT

Emma was having another nightmare, she was screaming. Both of her parents came running into the room to wake her up. Snow climbed in bed with her to keep her still, like she always does when Emma has her nightmares. "Emma wake up!! Wake up sweetie!" Emma wakes up and hugs her mom. Mom, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry... "Shh sweetie you're okay, you are okay". I've been such a brat all day, I'm so sorry. "Don't worry about is honey, it's okay". I shouldn't have lied. Emma drifted back off to sleep and Snow stayed with her.

Saturday morning

Emma is still asleep, but she's starting to wake up, but as her eyes open she sees her aunt Red. Aunt Red? What are you doing here? "Hey Blondie, your dad is at work and your mom needed to go to the store, so she asked me to come over to watch... hang out with you". Sure you are, can I use your phone to call her, please? "Yeah, I guess". Emma calls Snow.
Mom, I don't need a babysitter
You don't have one, you have an aunt that loves you very much and enjoys spending time with you.
But she's also a babysitter because you don't want any of my friends coming over... am i wrong?

"Emma, what'd you do to get yourself grounded?" I lied to them. "Snow wouldn't ground you for 2 months over a petty lie". I was sort of a big lie. "What'd you lie about?" I sort of told them my nightmares went away... "You did what?!" Yeah, yeah, ik, it was a bad thing, we're not supposed to lie to each other, I've heard it all, I know it was wrong, but if it makes you feel any better, I'm dying of boredom. Red laughs. That wasn't supposed to make you laugh. "Come on Blondie, we gotta get you ready for PT". Alright, help me up.
