Chara's POV:

'Azzy why are you going back?!' I shouted at my brother angrily.

'I don't want to fight them.' He said, carrying my body as I floated next to him as a ghost.

'This wasn't the plan!' I screamed in his ear.

'I don't care, I'm not hurting anyone.'

Frisk's POV:

I climb one of the trees and look around... all I can see are leaves.

"Chara? Are you here?" I hear Asriel say, I stay on the tree until he walks away, then I shout,

"CHARA! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I use my loudest voice.

Chara's POV:

'Azzy, you okay?' I looked down at the tall goat boy who was usually far smaller, there were cuts all over him.

'I'm okay.' He coughed, his body fell to the ground.

'Asriel? Asriel! Wake up!' I shouted, shaking his body, 'Azzy please! Please be alive!' I started to feel tired, exhausted even... was I about to die again? Was my soul going to be done with? Were we both dying?

"Asriel, where are you my chi- ASRIEL! ASGORE COME HERE!" Was the last thing I heard.

"Hey Kid? You 'round here?" Sans walks over to me, "suspected you'd be here."

"I'm sorry." I say, looking back down.

"Sorry for what? Frisk's the one that went mental, not you." He sits down, looking at me worriedly.

"I couldn't control the anger though, what if in battle it happens again and I hurt you guys?"

"You won't. I've gone crazy in battle before, but no one's been hurt that doesn't deserve it."

"Really?"

"Yeah. When you're there, you'll know what to do."

"Okay, yeah."

"Look, we're not letting you fight him on your own. We're here, family sticks together right?" The skeleton says, smiling. I nod,

"Yeah, you're right." I look up, "Sans?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't want to hurt him... I don't want him to die. I can't live through that feeling again."

"I know."

"Chara, you're back!" Asriel runs over to us, hugging me. Sans walks over to Mom,

"Hey Tori, I found her."

Frisk's POV:

"Chara?!" I walk into Ebott, she's not here either. I have to find her.

Chara's POV:

"Thanks Mom, this looks delicious." I say as dinner is put on the table, it's a roast.

"Where's Frisk?" She asks, looking where they usually sit.

"They... oh my god. They're still looking." Asriel's eyes open wide. I look at him,

"What?!"

"In this dark? They could get hurt! We have to go find them." Mom says nervously.

Frisk's POV:

I can't see, I'm in a dark forest with barely any light and low HP. I keep walking and before I know it I'm on the ground with mud on my face, I tripped on a tree branch... again. I turn over and look up at the stars in the sky, tears blurring my vision. 5 HP...

I'm scared, not for myself but for Chara; she's been missing for hours now, a lot of hours. I mean, what if she's dead or really badly hurt?

I get up and keep walking, I have to find her.

Chara's POV:

"Frisk?!" I shout, switching my torch on as I search for them. They've been out for hours now! I hope they're okay... they were already at low health because of me, what if they got hurt and d- no, I can't think like that. I'm sure they're fine, they- they're strong.

Frisk's POV:

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry." I whisper as I walk around the forest, the moon hardly allowing me to see; 3HP now... I don't want to stop looking but if I keep moving, I'll fall and probably die. I'm not really in the mood to die right now.

"Chara please? I'm sorry." I say, not even able to shout anymore. I don't know why I keep saying it, it's not like the word will make it all better... not after what I did.

Chara's POV:

"Frisk, where are you? I'm okay! Please be alive!" I shout, walking past Mount. Ebott. Asriel walks over to me with a scared look on his face,

"I can't find them anywhere."

"Well you haven't been looking for very long. Keep searching, we can't just leave them out here alone... it doesn't matter that what they did wasn't right. What I did wasn't right but you all still kept looking for me, and that's what we'll do with Frisk." I say, we won't lose them. We won't leave them out here.
