I woke up to the sound of static from the tv. I went to turn it off when I noticed something was wrong. Out of the corner of my eye I saw people walking around outside. It was the middle of the night, it was strange seeing them. I got a closer look and realized these people weren't people anymore. They were dead.
There decayed bodies being dragged or shuffling around made me wonder how this all started.
It probably started when we had major weather change. A few days ago we had snow, in the middle of summer. The next day there was rain, then sleet, and weather over 20 degrees started.
I snapped back to reality when one saw me. It just stared at me. That's when I remembered I had to get my roommate Sara. We had to get out of there fast.
I woke her up and told her about what was going on. At first she thought I was lieing until she saw them for herself. We grabbed food water and weapons. I grabbed my keys and we went quietly to the car.
"Sara, I know where we have to go." I said nervously.
"Then lets go." she responded with worry in her voice.
We drove for an hour and a half. Once we arrived at our summer house witch is in the country, we got out of the car.
"We should be safe here." I told Sara.
"I know we will, I hope." she said worried.
I was also hoping it was safe. There couldn't be any dead around here, could there? We were wrong they were coming, fast.
