Chapter 29

Ambers POV.

"Who's there!" I yelled.

"It's me, Johan." Johan said walking in. "I forgot to give you guys your pillows, blankets, food, and water.

Jonah put the stuff down on the table, and walked out. Well they were friendly, and it's was a nice town. It felt like we could live here for ever.

We grabbed the stuff and put it away. Everyone went off to their rooms and headed to sleep. I stayed up and sat on the couch. Jack walked out of his room and sat beside me.

"What's wrong?" Jack asked.

"Nothing, I think that this place is good to stay, we don't have to risk our lives anymore, and we don't have to move around that much." I told him.

''I think we should stay." Jack said.

I nodded in agreement.

Jack leaned into me and kissed me. I kissed him back. Sara came and sat beside us. She always ruined the moment. I got up and walked away from them. Sara ran after me. She grabbed onto my arm and walked beside me. I tried to shake her off but she wouldn't let me go.

"Sara, let go of me!" I said frustrated.

"Amber I need to talk to you." Sara said pulling me to a stop.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm pregnant." She said happily.

I stared at her in shock. She has to be joking. Sara bursted out laughing. Dammit, it was a joke. I hate it when she does this.

I shook her off me then walked to my room. It was late out so I went to sleep.

That night I dreamt about this place. We were all walking around getting to know people, and we saw old friends of ours. Jonah walked up to us and told us, "You don't need to survive anymore, you're all safe here, this is your home now." We all were happy and cheering.

I woke up and ran outside. It was real we were safe here, we didn't need to leave. It was the end to our survival trip.
