Jack yelled at me to run. I ran and woke everyone up, I screamed. They all came out and saw what was happening.
We ran out the door but Beth stayed to fight.
"BETH!" I screamed.
"RUN!" Beth yelled at us. "As long as you guys are safe."
I fell behind as I watched them kill her. There was a hand on my arm that pulled me out. They were in there eating her and I didn't do anything.
"She's in shock." Sara said shoving me in the car.
"I saw her die!" I shuttered as I said it.
''Don't look back, Amber." Taylor said.
We sped away fast. Nobody looked back. It would haunt us if we did.
We drove for an hour. I wanted to know where we would go, but I didn't dare ask. It didn't feel right to bring it up now.
Beth was really good to us, she would make everyone feel welcome. She would make us laugh, she may seem like a hard ass but she's not.
"Is everyone okay?" Jack asked.
"I'm good, Ethan you okay?Taylor asked.
"Are you kidding me! My sister just fucking died back there!" Ethan shouted through sobs.
Me and Sara stayed quiet. We couldn't say a thing. I could tell she was scared, I didn't blame her I was too.

Ethan's POV.
I can't stop thinking about Beth. She was my little sister. Now she's one of them. Why does everything bad happen to me?
We stopped at an old barn house, Sara, Amber, and Taylor went and checked it. Jack stayed with me.
"Ethan, I know your going through a lot but she wouldn't want us sitting here giving up on life, your just gonna have to accept the fact she would do anything to save you.'' Jack said with confidence.
I just stared at him, I wanted to punch him, but I didn't. All my strength left me.
Sara came out to the car and told us it was clear. We walked in and took our own rooms.
"If there is a god out there, please let me know my sister is at peace." I prayed.
I fell asleep and dreamt about my sister.
She was walking in the forest we loved to play in. She ran around laughing.
"Ethan don't cry for me, I'm in a safe place now." Beth said.
"I am sorry, Beth I love you." I told the fading image.
"I love you too big bro, don't be sad." Beth told me as she faded away.
I woke up with a wide smile on my face. She's in a better place now. I could tell.
