I froze in my spot, I couldn't move. There was another snap, and I was starting to get scared.

Jack hopped out of the car and grabbed me. I pushed him off holding the knife.

"Are you crazy!" Jack growled.

"Yes, yes I am." I said back.

Jack stared at me like I was a psychopath. I may have been one if I stayed there.

"WHO'S THERE!" I shouted.

No answer. There were no moans.

A young boy came running out. He dropped to his knees sobbing. I walked over to him and knelt down beside him.

"Are you okay, you bit?" I asked him.

The kid looked up at me and hugged me. He was scared and sad. I got up and pulled him with me.

"Lets get inside." I demanded the others.

Everyone walked in and sat down. The kid still clung to me as I sat down too. He looked like he has been to hell and back himself, his clothes were all bloody his face was scratched and his hair was matted.

"Can you tell me your name?" I asked the crying boy.

"L-Liam." He said through sobs.

"Were you bitten?" I asked him.

"No, but m-my parents t-turned." Liam sobbed.

I held him close to me while everyone else were choosing rooms and searching for weapons. Liam looked up at me and then he stopped crying. The poor kid actually witnessed his family die. It must have been hard.

I brought Liam up to a room and put him in the bed. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep.

"You're safe now, Liam I promise you." I told him.

I stayed with him until I saw him sleeping. He looked so peaceful, he didn't cry anymore, he wasn't scared, and didn't seem to panic.

"Amber? He okay?" Jack asked standing in the doorway.

"He will be fine.' I said finally.

I stood up and walked out the room, I shut the door lightly so no one would disturb him. Jack looked down at me and squeezed my hand.

"It's gonna be alright." Jack told me.

"Is it?" I asked.

"Yes." Jack said.

I pulled him to me and hugged him tight. Jack hugged me back. it was a long hug too. I let him go and started to walk to Roses room.

"Hey rose, how's your leg feeling?" I asked.

"Better, still hurts but it's getting better." Rose responded.

"I'm gonna check on it." I said.

I say down on the beg and unwrapped the gauze. Her leg was swollen but started to look better. I grabbed some new gauze from our first aid kit and wrapped he leg up.

"Get some rest." I said standing up.

Rose nodded the laid back down. I went to my room and fell asleep to, everyone should be sleeping.

Someone opened up my door.
