Jacks POV
I wonder if Amber will ever go with me again, it's fun with her. She never complains, she listen, and she's smart.

I enjoy her company, but I wonder if she enjoys mine.

"Amber, are you okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah, just a sprained ankle. you? Amber said.

"I'm fine."

I lied, I thought she was gonna just give up when they came. She proved me wrong, she was strong, never gave up.

"Jack!" Beth shouted. "Your back."

"Yeah I'm back." I shouted at her.

There wasn't a lot of food that we got especially when we dropped half of it. At least we got some. That night we didn't have a big meal, just some dry cereal and bagels.

We would have to go back again tomorrow. Will Amber go with me? Would she want to go back? What if she stays? Will there be laughter or none? I guess my questions will have to wait.

I took Sara to her room witch was beside Taylor's. Then I took Amber to her room.

"Amber, is your room gonna be good?" I asked her

"Of coarse, why you ask." Amber responded.

"Well from your window you can see the dead..." she cut me off.

"It's alright, Jack, there just people who happen to be dead." Amber said.

"Alright but if you want a different room tell me."

"I will."

"Promise me."

"I promise."

"Night Amber."

"Night jack."

She lightly shut the door. I could tell she was tired and scared, but she never said anything.

I don't know what it is about her but I liked her. She was beautiful, She had blue eyes, long blonde hair, a perfect smile, and a perfect attitude. She was different from all those other girls, she was strong, and she seemed to be braver than most.

I hope they stay here, I could tell Taylor was in love with Sara. I could tell that from the way he looked at her. He stared at her like she was the last girl on earth.

It was getting late so I decided to head off to bed. As I lay there all I could think about was Amber.

That all changed when I heard a knock on the door.
