Ambers POV.

There was a deafening scream from the girl. She looked terrified.

"Shhh, calm down you alright, your safe." I tried to sooth her.

"Where am I who are you!" She shouted.

"Your safe, we brought you in, I'm taking care of you, just calm down." I told her.

"We? There's more!" The girl exclaimed.

"Don't worry, in the morning we will explain, but you need some rest if you wanna get better." I told the terrified girl.

She nodded.

The girl lied back down and shut her eyes. I could see tears roll down her face. She got back up.

"Do you have any pain killers." the girl asked quietly.

"Yes, one minute." I said calmly.

I walked out of the room.

"Amber what happened?" Jack asked.

I ignored him, I just kept walking to the kitchen. Everyone followed me. I grabbed the only bottle of water we had and the pain killers.

"Amber, is she okay?" Taylor asked ashamed.

"She's fine, just in pain. I said finally.

I walked to her room and shut the door. She sat there while I handed her the pill and water.

"Can you tell me your name?" I asked her.

"It's Rose, you?" Rose asked.

"I'm Amber."

Rose put up her hand to shake mine. She looked like she had been to hell and back. I couldn't stand looking in her eyes, they had terror and death in them.

I got up and checked on her leg, it was starting to look better when the blood was gone. Rose lied back down and shut her eyes. She must be tired.

I got up and left, I shut the door slightly behind and walked to my room.

"Amber, did you get anything out of her?" Jack asked me.

"I got her name, I think she trusts me, I hope she does anyway." I told him.

"What is it?" Jack asked.

"Rose." I said as I shut my door behind me.

I didn't want to be with anyone right now. There were many reasons, I was tired, I couldn't stop thinking about my family, and seeing the death in her eyes.

My family was the main reason though. That girl made me think of them when I looked at her, the pain, and death in her eyes reminded me of the pain I was going through. Their faces would appear when ever I shut my eyes. I knew they would never live again, but I mainly knew god did not exist.
