Chapter 4 ~ The Spill

~Hayes~

My parents left and it was the perfect time to have the party. Everybody came and the first people there was my football buddies. Then came the rest of the party. The last ones to show up was Emma and her friends. I finally found Alex and was walking over to her when Emma ran into me. "Sorry!" She said as she flinched. "It's ok, don't worry I'm not gonna do anything." I said with a smile. She ran in the kitchen and I went over to Alex and a guy walked into me and made me spill my drink on her. "What the heck Hayes!!!" She said madly. "Babe I'm sorry that guy bumped into me and it fell out of my hand!" I explained. Then people started to crowd around to watch. "You just ruined my favorite dress! Gawd Hayes I thought you were cool since your vine famous but all you are is a joke!" She slapped me and walked out. I walked up to my room and slammed the door. I went on Instagram to find that people recorded the argument and posted it. I threw my phone on my bed and sat with my elbows on my knees and my hands holding each other. I thought that if I talked to someone that I knew wouldn't say anything to anybody. Emma. I was thinking of what to say when my door opened and a girl with a navy blue tank top shorts and sandals on came in. "Sorry Hayes!" She said. "It's ok I was actually getting ready to go and find you" I said slowly. She looked so beautiful that I lost train of thought and walked up to her and grabbed her hand. I looked at it as I asked her "Don't you ever wonder why you where put on this earth?" I looked up to see her nodding her head. I went back and sat on my bed. She followed and did the same. "Hayes," she began and I looked into her brown eyes." She isn't worth it. You deserve so much more than Alex. She's an idiot for dumping you like that. If I was with someone as amazing as you, I would never let you go like that." I looked up at her and smiled. We got lost in each other's eyes, and I made a move. I leaned in to kiss her but she bailed. I sat up and thought of what just happened. I got up and tried to find her. I saw her waiting for her ride and I grabbed her hand. She turned and looked at me. "Emma, I'm sorry I didn't know what I was doing" "Hayes it's ok. Your just confused on what to do at this point." I just couldn't stop staring at her beauty. She looked down the street and looked back at me. She looked in my eyes and I looked in hers, and she kissed me on the cheek. After that she walked down my drive way to a white van. I couldn't believe she did that. Also that I even tried to kiss her. I barely even know her. But maybe I should talk to her more. Because things need to change between us. Or if there even is an us.
