Chapter 13 ~ I'm Fine

I finally opened my eyes. But everything was so blurry. "Shh guys she's waking up" said Kat. I looked around and saw everybody but Preston and Hayes. All I heard was banging. "Where's Hayes?" I asked in a rough voice. "Preston's out in the hall with Hayes. Preston's trying to calm him down." Said Nash. Kat started to cry. Turns out the cut was worse than we thought. It cut one of my big veins. "The doctor said you could come home tomorrow in time for Magcon!" Said Cam with a smile on his face. I was really happy that I still got to go to Magcon. I heard the door open and I saw Preston. He looked at me and started to tear up. "Come on Pony Boy, don't cry please" I pleaded. "I'm not the one that you should be worried about." He said. I heard the door open again. This time I saw Hayes. His face and eyes were red. I started to cry thinking about how worried he was. He ran over to me. "Hey baby" he said. I smiled. "Hey" I said. "How do you feel?" He asked me. "Okay" I said. He kissed me on the forehead. " oh wait I forgot something" he said as he stood up ad ran out to the hallway. He came back in and had something in his hand behind his back. He pulled in out from behind his back. It was a bear that had I Love You on the stomach. He laid it right next to me. I started to fall asleep as he stroked my hair. I woke back up by the doctor coming in. "Emma? It's time for you to go home" she said. I didn't relize that I was asleep for that long. I looked at the clock it was 9:30. I didn't have any clothes until I looked at the side of my bed. It was my KU bag with a note on it. " Here's some clothes for today! Love ya sis!" From Kat. I looked and got dressed in a gray sweat shirt and gray sweat pants with black furry boots. I brushed my hair and left it down. When I opened the door Kat ran up to me and hugged me. I had my wrist wrapped up. "Sorry does it hurt?" She asked. "Not really" I said. We started to walk and when I got in the car we started to drive home. As we got on my street I got excited all of the sudden. We pulled up and I got out of the car. We walked up and I opened the door. And all I saw was the boys and my friends. Everybody hugged me and stuff. The last one was Hayes. "Welcome back baby" he said as he kissed me. I smiled. And we hugged for a minuet. I had the bear in my hand. I started to walk up stairs leaving everybody down stairs. I sat on my bed and just looked at me bear. Then my door opened. It was Hayes. "Hey" I said. He walked over to me and sat. "You sure your okay baby?" He asked. I wasn't okay, but I couldn't tell him that. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me down. He made it to where I couldn't get up. "You gonna smile?" He asked in a playful voice. I tried not to, but then he started to tickle me. I laughed really loud. Then we kissed. I guess you could call it a make out session but whatever. After that I sat up on his lap. I was still giggling. "Come on real talk. Are you okay" he asked again. I said yes. We were having a moment and I just didn't want it to get ruined.
