Chapter 20 ~ She's Back

~Hayes~

I sat on the edge of my hotel bed with my phone in my hands. Emma hasn't texted me in a while. Then my door opened. "Hey Kat?" I asked. "Yeah?" She said. "Has Emma ever....cut?" I asked. "Not that I'm aware of. Why?" She asked. "We got in the hotel room and as I sat her stuff down she went to the mirror and said that she's surprised it hasn't cracked yet. And I said what are you talking about your beautiful. Then I kissed her cheek and she ran out of the hotel room. I'm confused." I said. "Well I know that she hasn't cut, but she tried to once and I caught her before she could do it." She said. "It was when your girlfriend was bullying her a lot. She couldn't take it anymore. But no, she's never done that." She said. I was relieved. "You wanna come to the beach with us? Maybe she's there. Trust me I know my sister." She said. I agreed to go and I got my swim trunks and a towel. As I walked out I noticed Shawn wasn't coming. "Where's Shawn?" I asked. "He said that he was gonna do a few covers before heading down there" said Carter. Then I got a text.

Bae😍~ Hey is it okay if I have a friend say with us?

I checked with the guys and they said its fine.

Me~ the guys said that's fine.

We got in the jeep and van and headed to the beach. We put our stuff down and I took off my shirt and jumped in the ocean. I swam around by myself for a while. Then I looked down and saw a starfish. It was kinda a redish pink. I went back up to the surface and got out. Everybody kept saying they were thirsty and Nash forgot water bottles. He got in the Jeep and started the engine. He was know on his way to the house to get water. As he left a girl came down. Taylor could not keep his eyes off of her. Taylor got up and walked up to her. "Um is Emma here?" She asked him. "No we can't find her" he said.

"Oh well I just saw her down on the other side of the beach" she said. I looked at Cameron and started to run. I needed to find her. I hope she's okay. I was about half way there but there wasn't anybody there. "She left" I said out loud to my self. I ran back and jumped in the water to cool down. As I got out Nash pulled up with Emma and Shawn. I ran up to the jeep and so did the girl. As Emma got out I ran up to her and hugged her. "Are you okay?" I asked. She smiled and nodded her head. I walked her down to where we were set up. As we sat down she was on her phone taking selfies with everybody. Then everybody ran into the water and I followed. But Emma stayed there. "Come on Em the waters great!" I said as I let myself fall backwards into the water. I went back up and got a breath. Emma took her cover up off and put it on her towel. "Take a picture it'll last longer!" She yelled. I laughed and so did everybody else. Ria was spending most of the time with Taylor. He seemed to really like her. They were sitting together talking. We all got out and dried off. We got in the cars and drove back to the hotel. I hugged Emma goodnight and went to me and Nash's room. I went to bed and slowly fell asleep. It was a long day and I needed a good sleep for a long day of Magcon tomorrow.
