Chapter 22 ~ Magcon

~Hayes~

I woke up and got dressed. I got in my football jersey with some khakis and my red vans. I put on my red Magcon sweatshirt and joined in with the boys waking up the girls. We barged in and Taylor and Carter went to Ria and jumped. Matt and Cam went to Kat, and me and Nash went to Emma. "Come on we got an hour till Magcon!" I said jumping on the bed. Nash was too but then he fell off. I jumped to where I was laying next to Emma. I got up and tried to pull her out of the bed. Next thing you know everybody starts dancing. I tried to get Emma to but she wouldn't. "There isn't any music" she laughed. "I can fix that" Kat said as she got her iPod out and played Wiggle. "You know what to do with that big fat butt" they sang. "Wiggle wiggle wiggle" they all sang. Me and Emma sat there and laughed. We all got out so the girls get ready. I stayed sitting against the wall. Then I heard the girls conversation. "Kat, Ria, I need to tell you guys something." Emma said, she sounded like she was about to cry. "You can tell us anything" Ria said. "Okay so you know when I ran out yesterday? Well I was at the beach, when is saw Ria. When I came back me and Shawn played Zombies." She began and I got quiet. Then she continued. "We were playing then my character got infected. So Shawn won. He was running around being happy that he won, and he tripped. He fell on me and we were laughing, cause it's always funny when someone falls. But he looked in my eyes and he looked at my lips and, you know." She said, "we kissed" she said. Once she said that my heart sank. My heart stopped beating. My hands turned into fists. I stood up and paced back and forth. Then a door opened and out came Shawn. "Hey you okay bro?" He asked. I tried my hardest not to punch his face in. "Yeah I'm fine" I said pushing past him and going in to my room. I slammed the door and told Nash about it. "Hayes, what could she do if he was on her?" He said. "But she cheated!" I yelled. Hopefully Emma couldn't hear. "Hayes calm down. Okay? We'll talk to Shawn if we need to" he said. "No, I'll just make sure she's mine. I gotta make sure she stays with me." I said. My eyes widened." The box!" I said, "There you can give that to her!" He said. I put it in my pocket. Then it was time to go. I calmed down and put my arm around Emma in front of Shawn. I always knew he had feelings for her. I couldn't blame him. But I'm in love with her. And I hope she loves me not him. She looked beautiful too. ~skip car ride~ We got out and I put my arm back around Emma to let everybody know she's my girl. All the girls kept giving her hate. She ran I front of us and ran back stage. Shawn tried to run to her but Nash held him back. "Hayes gots this" he said. Shawn nodded and kept walking. I ran up and heard crying. I looked and saw Emma in a ball in a corner. I sat next to her. She raised her head from her knees with tears going down her pink cheeks. "Hey you okay?" I asked her. "No, I can't take it anymore. Not that much hate from people." She said putting her face back in her knees. "Ignore them, there just jealous of you." I said trying to cheer her up. Her head shot up. "Hayes what is there to be jealous of? I'm ugly, fat, a loser. The only thing to be jealous about is that I have you" she said with more tears running down her face. "Emma, there is so much to be jealous of you for. Your beautiful, skinny, nice, funny, your the best thing that's ever happened to me other than Skylenn" I said. She smiled. "I know how much she means to you" she said, I smiled and kissed her forehead. "Now come on princess, I bet you have a long line waiting for you" I said holding my hand out. She took my hand and stood up. She walked up to her line and took pics, and signed things. There was a little boy in that line. She picked him up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She played with him for a little, she's really good with kids. I hope to have kids some day. But that's gonna be a LONG ways away. She hugged him and got a picture taken with him getting kissed on the cheek. Then there was guy in line. Phew went up to her and whispered in her ear and she shook her head no. I couldn't tell what he wanted but he kissed her cheek and held her by the waist. He let go and walked off. "Okay everybody it's time for the singing competition!"'Nash yelled as he jumped up on the stage. "Okay we are gonna have me, Cam, Shawn, and Emma sing!" He said. I looked at Emma talking to Shawn. I don't even get why he likes her, I mean he's 3 years older than her. Creepy. Everybody went and when Shawn sang he kept looking at Emma, and when Emma sang she looked at me and him a couple times. When we were done we got in the car and drove to the hotel. "Hey Emma, walk with me?" I asked. She smiled and nodded. We walked and I made us stop. I looked at her and gave her the box. "Here it's for you" I said giving her the box. She opened it and put it on. "Hayesie I love it!" She said hugging me. She put her lips on mine and I picked her up and spun her. When she pulled away I still spun her to here her laugh. I put her down and we walked back to the hotel. We walked in and I went straight to bed. I could hear Shawn singing next door, he sang Summer a Time Sadness. I have to admit he's really good. But he's gotta understand that she wouldn't fall for him. Just me. I know I may sound selfish but we all know it's true. I hope...
