Chapter 9 ~ Truth Or Dare

I wanted to get the Alex thing off my mind so I invited the boys and my friends to come play Truth or Dare. I texted everybody and they all said yes to come. I heard almost what sounded like was a thousand knocks. And Matt screaming let us in there gonna get us! (LoL) I let them in and the first one I met eyes with was Nash, he picked me up and spun me. Once he put me down it was Matt and Cam. Then Taylor, Carter, and the rest of the group. We all sat down and I took a seat between Cam and Kat. "Nash Truth or Dare?" Asked Cam. "Uhh let me think, Dare!" Said Nash. He chuckled "Okay, I dare you to run outside in front of the neighbor hood and hug a pole yelling ITS MEH BEST FRIEND!" He dared. So like he was told he ran out did what he had to do. We ran back in and as we sat there was a knock. "I got it" I said as I got up and opened the door. I met eyes with Hayes. I let him in and he sat with Taylor and Carter. "Okay Emma, Truth or Dare?" Asked Kat. "Umm" I said everybody chanted in a whisper voice "Dare, dare, dare" "Okay, Dare" I said. "Okay. I dare you to....Kiss Hayes" she said. My face turned pale. "Alright then" I said slowly. Hayes leaned in and so did I until his lips met mine. All I could feel were sparks. "Get some!" I heard Kat say as I pulled away. We sat down and every time I looked at Hayes I caught him looking at me. So he turned away. And so did I. While Cam did his dare, which was to kiss my fish. Hayes passed me a note. "Wait till everybody leaves. I need to talk to you. - Hayes" it read. I looked at him and nodded as we sat back down from watching Cam, Hayes ran over to sit next to me. He sat next to me the whole time we played. "Okay Kat, Truth or Dare?" I asked. "Truth" she said. "How many kids are you wanting with Matt?" I asked. "25!!!!" Said Matt. Kats eyes widened. "oo y'all are gonna be busy!" Said Nash. And everybody laughed, so did I. After everybody left it was just me and Hayes. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked. He looked in my eyes and I looked at his. "About the kiss." He said. "Yeah?" I asked. "Umm I felt something when we kissed." He said. I laughed a little bit. "So did I " I said. "Cool" he said as he smiled. It was quiet for a while. I looked up and met eyes with him. He leaned in and we met lips again. We kissed for what felt like a while. Until he got a phone call. It was Nash asking where Hayes was. "I'm at Kats and Emma's." He said. "Okay Bye" he said. He tried to kiss me again but I started to talk. "Umm so now what?" I asked. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I mean us? Are we like a thing now?" I tried to explain what I was asking. "If you want to be." He said. I was surprised, someone this amazing wanted to actually be with me! "Okay" I said with a smile. He smiled back. I heard Nash honk his horn that he was here. I walked him to the car and he hugged me and gave me a kiss on the forehead. I waved and walked up to the house and saw Kat. I couldn't stop smiling. "Why you smiling?" She asked just to tease me. "Maybe because I just got a boyfriend!!!" I said. "OMG Who?!" She asked. "Hayes!" I said. Her smile went away. "Em, bad decision." She said. "How?" I asked. "He's a player Emma. He has girls begging him to be his girlfriend. And your just gonna be another page in his book." She said. But I didn't believe her. "Whatever, I thought you were gonna be happy that I finally got a boyfriend! But I guess I was wrong!" I ran up the stairs and slammed my door.
