Pentatonix: Murder House

Twenty-one

Connie sits in her bedroom by her vanity thinking, when she hears Nel call out for help.

"Please help us!" She repeats as she runs towards Connie's house.

Connie gets up to look out the window as she sees Nel and Mitch running away from their house in terror.

"Somebody help us! Call the police!" Nel yells as she runs past Connie's house down the block hand in hand with her son.

Connie watches from her bedroom as they run frantically.

Meanwhile back at the house, the man is lying on the floor gasping for air.

"What the hell? Why aren't you dead?" He says as he hears someone walk past the room he's in.

He gets up and walks to find Fiona and Bianca.

"Fiona! The bitch is going downstairs!" He yells throughout the house.

He walks down the basement stairs to find Mitch or Nel to kill them hisself.

As he's walking towards the basement door that leads outside, he hears someone walk past behind him and he goes to follow it.

"I'm just gonna kill them, man! This is bullshit!" He yells in frustration.

He turns into the room that has a bathtub in the center of it and finds Fiona with her throat cut open laying next to the tub.

"Fiona!?" He yells.

The man look back up towards the tub and sees the two nurses, Gladys and Maria, standing on either side of the tub looking at him.

Mike and Isabel are at the doctors office to go through with the proceedings as Isabel asked for since she doesn't want to have a child with Mike.

Mike watches her as she fills out all the necessary paper work.

Then a woman comes out of one of the rooms, having gone through the same thing Isabel is about to go through and see looks like hell.

Isabel then begins to have second thoughts about all of this, but then sticks to the plan.

"I'm okay. Really. This is the right thing for both of us." She says to Mike.

"Isabel, I'm so sorry about all of this. I wish I could fix it." Mike says.

"I just wish you could come in with me."

Mike sighs and puts in head in his hands.

"Isabel? Are you ready?" The nurse says coming out from the back office.

Isabel nods and stands up to walk with the nurse to the back room.

"See you when I get out."

"I'll be here."

Mike gives her a soft smile before she turns away to continue walking with the nurse.

Mike shakes his head thinking about all of this, then his phone starts to ring like crazy.

He looks at his phone to see he has thirteen miss calls from Nel.

Mike panics and leaves the doctors office behind to rush Home back to his family.

Connie got into the Grassi's basement door to see what was going on inside the house that made Nel and Mitch run for their lives.

She walks up and stands between Scott and Angelica as they look at the lifeless bodies on the floor.

"Jesus H. Christ." Connie says.

"Was this your handiwork?" Connie asks Scott.

"No."

"It was them." Angelica says.

They continue to look at the two bodies in silence as they try to conjure up a plan on how to get rid of them.

"We have to get rid of the bodies if you want him to keep treating me." Scott says.

"I'll get the shovel. You'll get the bleach." Angelica says not taking her eyes off the bodies.

She can't believe she has to clean up another mess like this again.

They all sigh as they work together to clean this bloody mess up.

"So, you were in Texas when this all happened, Dr.Grassi?" The police man asks.

"Yes."

"What was your business there?"

"Uh, I was seeing a patient. Ginny Blevens."

"A, uh, real patient?"

Mike is taken aback when he asks what the real patient he went to see is.

"What?" Mike asks.

"Unlike her, I mean? This is the female you say you saw on Wednesday morning?" The officer asks as he shows her a picture of Bianca.

"Yes. Yes, that's her. She must've been casing the house. I'd...I'd never seen her before." Mike says.

"And you won't see her again. We found her about six blocks from here practically cut in half. Looks like maybe she didn't go through with it, ran off, her friends went after her, tried to do a Black Dalhia on her." The officer explains.

Mike doesn't know what to say after the officer gave him all this information about this patient he had treated a few days earlier.

"Seems your attackers were obsessed with famous LA murders. Had a little club going. Plan to re-create more than a few." The other officer says.

"We're still looking. Don't worry. Even in a town this big, people just don't disappear." The officer reassured the Grassi's.

The officer get up and walk over to the kitchen to check for anymore evidence of the intruders.

Mike and Nel look at each other trying to process all of this, when Mitch walks into the dining room.

Mike walks towards Mitch and takes him in for a hug.

"Mitch, your mom said that you told her that Scott helped you escape?"

"Yeah....thanks for not dragging him into all of this."

Mike and Nel look at each other as they think they know why Scott was there, but decided to ask why anyways.

"What was he doing in the house?" Mike asks.

"How should I know?" Mitch asks.

"Mitch..."

"You think I let him in? I don't know why Scott was here! But I'm glad he was. You weren't!"

Mitch then storms off to his bedroom and leave Nel and Mike to their own conclusions.

Before walking up the stairs, Mitch turns towards Nel.

"You were very brave, Mom."

She gives Mitch a small smile and lets him walk away.

Nel turns back trying not to look at Mike, but she can feel him staring at her without blinking.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here."

"Me too. But you're here now."

"That's right. I'm home."

Nel shakes her head. "No you're not."

Nel gets up and walks out of the dining room as well.

"We're selling this house!"
