Mike rushes from his office to the door as someone rings the doorbell as he is in the middle of doing work.
He opens the door to see a police officer and a woman he doesn't know.
"Dr. Grassi, Detective Jack Colquitt."
"Missing persons, right?" Mike asks.
Detective Colquitt nods his head and puts his badge back into his coat.
"This young lady believes you might be involved in a case we just opened." He explains.
Mike looks at the detective and the lady puzzled as he doesn't know who she is or what is going on.
The woman sighs before crossing her arms over her chest.
"You don't remember me, Mike? Jen? Isabel's sister?" She spats.
He nods and invites them in and brings them to the kitchen.
Mike sits them down at the counter in the center of the kitchen as he takes glasses out of the cabinet and a pitcher of water from the fridge.
"I honestly have no idea what happened to her. In fact, I have a few questions for her myself." Mike says pouring Jen and Detective Colquitt glasses of water.
"You're a lair. Isabel is pregnant with your baby. And she comes here with the crazy idea that somehow you're gonna leave your wife, support her and raise your child together. So what'd you do, Mike? Where is she? In a hole somewhere?" Jen fires at Mike.
Detective Colquitt looks at Mike for an answer to these accusations that Jen is bringing against him.
Mike knows how bad it looks that he was the last person to see Isabel and he knows the whole truth about what happened to her.
As thinks as long as he plays it cool, calm, and collected, they will believe him and leave him and his family alone for once.
"Dr. Grassi, the last time I was here, I saw Jen's sister coming out of the house." Detective Colquitt says.
"Yes. We made plans to go to lunch at Norms." Mike says.
"You were also working in the backyard digging, weren't you, around the time she disappeared?"
"Detective, you have no idea what happened here." Mike says.
"That's what we're here to find out." Jen butts in.
All of a sudden, Isabel enters the kitchen as if nothing was wrong.
"What's with all the drama?" Isabel asks.
Everyone turns around and looks at her.
Mike stares at her unsure if this is all real or not.
He saw Rick kill Isabel in cold blood with a shovel in the backyard.
"What the hell, Isabel? How come you haven't answered your phone or called or anything?" Jen asks angrily.
"Uh, to be honest with you, Jen, I didn't think you gave a rat's ass about me. I thought you were calling to borrow money again." Isabel fires.
Detective Colquitt looks at Mike and then Isabel.
"So, you're okay then? Obviously you're not missing." The detective says.
Isabel gives Mike and smile and then looks back at her sister and the detective with a smile.
"Nope. You don't have to worry about me, sis. You were wrong about Mike. I've decided to stay here in La-La Land. This is my home now."
