Jungkook perspective

I woke up and looked around, my eyes were foggy, my eyelids were heavy and the bright lights made it hard to keep my eyes open.

It wasn't till a bit after I woke up that I realized where I was.

I looked down to my wrists that were stitched up and bandaged, and thought back. I couldn't remember much but the warmth spilling from my arms and a couple of memories from before.

So I failed, raced through my mind.

I brought my hand up to my head as I got a sharp pain on my temple but it dulled down shortly.

I looked down at my arm that had an IV stuck in it before dropping my arm to the bed.

I looked around once more now that I was fully awake. Open shades, a TV on with no sound and an empty bed next to mine, I was alone in a bland hospital room. The only speck of color was a couple of blue flowers on the table next to me.

The nurse walked in to check on me, she noticed that my heart rate increased a bit.

"Good morning" she said with a big fake smile on her face. She walked up next to bed before asking if I needed anything.

I just said no quietly.

"How are you feeling?" She asked no longer having a huge smile on her face.

I simply answered back "bad", and she didn't know what else to do, "well dinner's served in two hours" she said before leaving the room quickly.

I looked up to the TV that was up on the wall across from me between the two beds. A cartoon that I used to watch when I was smaller was on.

I looked around my bed and in the drawers of the table but I couldn't find the remote.

I looked over to the bed next to mine and saw the remote sitting on top of the pillow.

I tried to stretch my arm out to it but I didn't even reach halfway. I let out a sigh before sitting up and stepping onto the floor, as my weight went onto my legs they instantly gave out.

It took me awhile to gather up the strength to stand but when I did I grabbed the remote and crawled back into bed.

I flipped through the channels till I found something I wanted to watch, it was a movie that I kinda liked. I turned up the sound a bit just till I could hear it and tried to relax.

A dull pain constantly buzzed throughout my entire body making it hard to focus. I turned of the TV mad and tossed the remote to bottom of the bed.

I looked out the window, it was sunny, such a contrast from.... I thought about it but I wasn't sure how much time had passed.

I'll just ask later I thought before focusing on the window again. In the distance a water fountain caught my eyes. I stared at it for awhile before my eyes trailed to what was around it, it was surrounded by flower bushes.

I looked to the opposite side reminded of the flowers next to me. It looked like I was visited by a little kid but I didn't know any let alone any that would come visit me.

I picked them up they were periwinkles sitting in a paper cone, I chuckled slightly at how childish it looked, I couldn't even imagine who left them.

I picked up one of the flowers to smell them when I noticed some writing on the inside. I took out the flowers, gently putting them to the side before unrolling the paper.

At first i was happy but then i was confused, since when were me and Taehyung friend.

I thought back, like the only thing we ever did together was eat lunch.

I was happy but I didn't let my hopes get too high, I rolled the paper back up before placing the flowers inside it again.

I grabbed the remote and turned the TV back on to the already half finished movie.

The nurse came in near the end of the movie with a tray of food, I sat up and she put the food on a moveable stand over my legs.

"Um.. How long have I been asleep?", I asked but she didn't hear me. "How long have I been asleep?" I said louder making her look up to me a bit surprised, "since yesterday night when you were brought in" she answered back.

I reached to straighten out the tray and pull it closer when my hand touched hers we both pulled back, she quickly set down the spoon she was holding before leaving the room. I turned my attention back towards the movie.

I ate fast, I hadn't eaten in a day and was starving. The food was OK but nothing great.

I started to think about my mom she would usually get home around this time and I wondered if she was gonna come visit.

The nurse came in  a little while after I finished eating and grabbed the plate without saying a word.

I waited and waited for hours but no came to the room. When the door did finally open it was the nurse saying it was time for lights out, she closed the curtains and turned off the light before leaving, never staying longer than she had to.
