Taehyung POV
I walked around aimlessly for a bit before I stopped at a neighborhood park. It was pitch black all around me except the few Street lights.
It was only ten but it's definitely odd for me to be out this late, by now i'd usually be asleep.
I decided to go out for a late night walk because I was too excited. I'm supposed to go out with some people from school tomorrow and just thinking about maybe making a friend or two makes me overjoyed.
I just sat on one of the swings eating a snack from the corner store across the street. As I finished up the snack I shoved the wrapper into my pocket before swinging really, really high.
I came to this park pretty often, I loved playing with the kids and just watching them play around. Sometimes I'll get weird stares from the parents and when I do I usually leave but most people know me by now so they don't mind.
I was at the top of my swing when I felt like I recognized someone down the street. I quickly stopped myself by dragging me feet and ran over to the sidewalk.
By then the person was already in front of the store. As the light shone on them I realized it wasn't the shop owner that I had thought i saw, they were better, it was Jungkook.
I crossed the street and just leaned against the wall of the shop, waiting for him to come back out of the store. I warmed up my hands that were icy cold while I just stood still.
I was so focused on my cold hands that I didn't even notice as Jungkook walked out of the door. I looked up as someone passed me and realized that I was letting him get away. Guess wh- I said as I hugged him from behind but he pushed me off.
I stood in shock as he curled down into a ball a step in front of me.
Jungkook I called out in a low voice confused as to what I did wrong.
I shook my head and walked around him before crouching down. "I'm sorry Jungkook, I didn't mean to scare you, are you okay?"
He looked up to me slowly and as he looked into my eyes I could tell that he was close to crying. I felt bad but I still didn't know what I did wrong, are you okay I asked again as I held my hand out for him to grab.
He stared at my hand for a bit, looking to be deep in thought. He closed his eye's before letting out a deep sigh. I smiled as he opened his eyes and took my hand.
I helped him stand back up and the second he was on his feet he pulled me by my arm to the park that I was at before.
He made me sit on the bench before sitting down next to me. He didn't face me as he talked but I faced him listening intently, my heart sinking with every word said.
"I've never told anyone this before but I wanted to tell you, I want you to know that you didn't do anything wrong.
You know how I said I lost my father when I was four, well my mother after about ten years of just me and her decided she wanted to try and find a new father for me.
I honestly wasn't that excited, I figured no one could be a father figure to me after not having one for so many years.
A couple of guys came and went till one stayed for a while, he was handsome and smart and my mom really liked him. I hung out with him a bit because I knew it made mom happy, but after awhile I started to look forward to it to.
One day when we were hanging out, just playing some games he asked if I wanted to come over and play a new fighting game he recently got. I figured why not and just got dragged along by him to his house.
He told me to go to his bedroom because that's where the game console was and to wait while he got the game from the bag. He opened the door slowly and told me to close my eyes and that he wanted the game to be a surprise.
I heard the rustle of a bag and seconds later I realized a gag was being forced into my mouth. I opened my eyes when I realized what was happening but he blind folded me soon after, I hardly even saw his face that had a huge smirk on it.
I'm sure you know happened next, it's not a pretty picture and I don't exactly want to paint it."
I could guess what happened next and I understand why he doesn't want to go into detail.
I just sat there, disgusted with the guy he didn't tell me the name of, not saying a word, I didn't even know what to say.
"Shit" Jungkook said jumping of the bench, startling me. "What's wrong" I said quickly, it looked like he was about to leave me.
"I forgot about my mom" he said as he raised the bag of feminine products. "Ohh... Do you want me to walk you home" I said not wanting to leave Jungkook alone.
He smiled before he said "yeah that be nice" and I quickly got up walking next to him in silence all the way to his house.
"Well I guess I should go" I said as we walked up to his door. He accidentally let out a little "oh" and I could tell he didn't notice but I thought it was cute. "Actually do you think I could spend the night it's a bit late to be walking" I said obviously as an excuse. He said "yeah" excitedly and opened up the door.
"What took you so long" Jungkook's mom said shuffling over in her slippers to the door where we were talking off our shoes.
"Oh, Taehyung" she said as she saw me and I just awkwardly smiled at her. "I ran into him, can he spend the night," Jungkook asked as he held out the bag for her.
She told him "I guess, but I need more warning next time," before going back upstairs. Meanwhile I just awkwardly stood at the back while they talked.
"C'mon" Jungkook said as he walked into the living room. "Let's watch some movies" he said tossing some couch pillows onto the soft carpet floor.
He laid down and patted the floor to the side of him where the other pillow was.
I laid down and watched as he put on a movie and we watched movies deep into the night.
