Jungkook POV

I rubbed my eyes as I sat up, I had just woken up but I was already in a pretty great mood. Every night I would dream of the same nightmare, hands touched me from everywhere and I could never escape.

Last night though it was different, instead of being caressed by countless hands I was held by two. I never would have thought that I could be fine with being held, but I was, and I know that it's thanks to Taehyung that I for once didn't want to wake up.

Curious as to why Taehyung was already gone I grab my phone. My eyes practically popped out of my head when I saw that it was already noon. I can't even remember the last time I slept in that late, usually I get five hours of sleep at most.

I got up and tossed my blanket on the couch, I didn't want to deal with it yet. I got myself a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch and sat on the couch. I clicked on the TV and scrolled as I ate but I couldn't find anything to watch.

As I finished my cereal I turned of the TV and tossed the remote to the side. I drank the cinnamon milk that was left in the bowl before heading upstairs, I wanted to take a shower.

I've always cared about personal hygiene so I take long hot showers, because of this my mom told me I'm like a girl, but I've never understood how people think the amount of time you spent on hygiene dictates your sex.

I walked out of the bathroom after more than a half an hour, I had a towel around my waist and my hair was still soaked.

I made my way over to my bedroom, steaming as the cold air hit my skin. I dried off a bit before tossing on some of my warmest pajamas.

I slid into bed and pulled out my phone. Being nice and warm under covers while the air around you is cold is such an amazing feeling.

I got stuck watching YouTube for hours, I watched one video then saw three more that looked interesting. This same cycle that repeats over and over makes YouTube like a trap.

I reluctantly set down my phone after my stomach growled at me. I stood and stretched, losing warmth quickly. I listened as my bones popped, such a satisfying sound. As I listened I also noticed another sound, the rain.

I walked over to my window and looked out at the gray sky. The rain was light and barely made much noise.

I thought about it one more time before grabbing my phone and going to messenger, I had been fighting myself for hours about whether or not I should ask Taehyung to spend the night again.

I know that it's a bit weird to ask again when he just spent the night last night but I can't help wanting him here, last night was the best sleep I've  had in so many years. He's the only person I can feel calm around.

I texted him, "Hey I was wondering if you wanted to come spend the night again. We didn't get to hang much before we fell asleep." I was trying my best not to sound desperate but got a little worried when a couple of minutes passed and he didn't answer.

I decided it was best not to stress about it and went down stairs. I tossed the phone onto the table before walking into the kitchen.

I really wasn't in the mood for cooking so I just heated up some leftover stew from the night before and grabbed a rice crispy treat for dessert.

I walked into the living room with my hands full, I had a bowl of food in one hand a cup of water in the other and a rice crispy treat hanging out of my mouth.

I turned on the TV and flipped to a cartoon channel, eating my stew as I stared up at the screen entranced.

I jumped a bit when my phone began buzzing, I set down my food and walked over to the kitchen table. "Hey" I said as I answered the phone, "Is this Jeon Jungkook" a woman said into the phone.

I pulled the phone away from my ear and checked who was calling. Investigation intelligence, I stared at those words confused forgetting that I was talking with someone.

I just assumed when I answered the phone that it was Taehyung because he's the only one that ever calls me.

"Hello" I heard a voice faintly say and I brought the phone back to my ear, "yea sorry this is Jungkook." "Hello Jungkook my name's Avaria, I'm with the police investigation bureau, I was wondering where you are and where you have been all day."

I skeptically answered back that I had been at home all day. She asked me a couple more questions, before asking if I could come in for some questions tomorrow. I let out a small yea before saying bye and hanging up. I knew I had nothing to be worried about but nonetheless it was still nerve-racking.

I looked back to the messages that I sent Taehyung before, they still haven't been read. I tried not to think about it but my mind always goes to the worse case scenario and right now it's going to Taehyung dead in a ditch.

The only thing that I can do is tell myself that it's just my imagination and wait till tomorrow when I'll figure out why I'm being questioned.

I went to bed the second my mom got home, I just wanted this day to end so it could be tomorrow.
