Hope you all enjoyed the last chapter. I know it was different, but sometimes change is good, haha!
And I know it's probably nothing, but I've noticed a lot less activation on the story! Don't mean to go all crazy! I know for myself I am a silent reader who doesn't express their opinions! Just please let me know if I should continue the story or not. Thank you!
Jay's eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the dark room. The wind cooled the room, and Jay shivered. The early breeze of October was in full swing. Jay wouldn't complain though. He loved the cold much more than the sticky heat.
He looked down at the girl in his arms and sighed. He was so grateful for Erin Lindsay. Six months ago he definitely didn't think he'd be here, in bed, living with her, today. Lead it to one event to change everything.
Jay examined her and he smiled to himself when he saw two hickeys on Erin's neck, and one one her collarbone. He simply thought one thing-
Erin is going to kill him.
Last night had been different, for the both of them. Jay originally wasn't going for that vibe, he was going for normal, and just wanted to take time to show Erin who thankful he was for her. But, when Erin said what she wanted, Jay wouldn't deny her. His blood started pumping and excitement filled his eyes when Erin gave him the go ahead. And in the end, Jay was relieved Erin wanted to try it again, and he sure enjoyed it. But either way, he loved her.
Then Erin sparked the idea to adopt last night. Jay was still trying to wrap his head around the idea of having a teenager run around. He was excited that he and Erin could have a family soon, and he was happy to have Jaxton join the family. Jay knew Erin and Jaxton had something when his heart tugged seeing them comfort each other. But then again, he was nervous. If they passed the tests and were eligible to adopt Jaxton, that means parenting. Jaxton was an athlete, and would soon be going into the seventh grade. With their jobs, trying to get rides for him to go places and being there for him would be difficult. They didn't even have to be to work today until noon, but Erin wanted to get there early so they could discuss this with Hank.
Jay also realized if they did adopt Jaxton, his and Erin's sex life would be torn down. He and Erin always took advantage of sex, but if they went through it would be limited. If barely having sex means they could have a boy though, Jay would do it in a heartbeat.
He sighed, looking over to the table side clock, seeing it was almost nine. Jay was going to make breakfast, maybe omelets. "Erin?" He hummed. She stirred in her sleep, mumbling something incoherently. Jay chuckled, sweeping a strand of hair out of her face. "Erin? Can I see those beautiful eyes, baby?"
Erin rolled over, rooting her head to Jay's chest. "Hmmm?" Her eyes fluttered open.
"Morning, baby." Jay kissed her head. "It's about nine, why don't we start getting ready?"
Erin looked up at him and her heart grew bigger seeing his face. She ran her hand over his cheek and raised her head to meet his and kissed him deeply, sighing contently. She ran her tongue across his bottom teeth, pleading for entrance. Jay granted it to her, and she explored the crevices of his mouth, pulling back with a smile on her face. "I love you."
Jay swung down for another kiss, making it last a few seconds. "I love you more, Er." He ran his fingers down her hair. "Now, why don't you shower and I'll make breakfast." Jay offered.
Erin nodded, sitting up, pulling the comforter up with her to cover her naked form. "I had fun last night." She laid her head on his shoulder. "It was really hot to see you take control." She pressed her lips against his shoulder, and got out of bed.
