Jamie's Pov

Three days later.

I am finally going back to school. What am I gonna tell Sam that I am ending the bet or do I say and pretend it is still on? What is my relationship with Nathan?

Nathan's Pov

I don't know what to do with Jamie anymore she is the love of my life I think? What are we now? Are we dating? Is she my Girl? I need to talk to her. I take my phone and text her
"Hey baby we need to talk."
"Ok when and where?"
"Meet me under the tree after school."
"Ok what are we?"
"We will discus that later"
"Ok nate?"
"Yes"
"I love u"
"Love u too"
Ok so that is good I will meet her after school then all with be straight.

Jamie's pov

I just finish texting Nathan and I think the conversation felt weird I mean we have not talked since I poured my heart out to him. I heard my phone ring it was my dad.
"Hello"
"Jamie where are you I haven't seen you in two weeks?" He sounded like he cares for me but I knew he was drunk still on the couch and I bet he has not cleaned the house or even a dish since I left.

"Um.. dad I have been staying at Cat's house I think it is for the best." I said believing it with my whole heart.

"No!" He screamed through the phone.

"Yes dad you don't love me any more and I know you had someone in my mother's bed. You don't care anymore for me or for my feelings so why should I care for yours!" I yelled back.

" Ok so I am not your father anymore just because I don't show you affection." He said sounding like he gulped a large amount of something which ten out of ten is scotch.

"Dad you stoped being my dad when you killed my mother then blamed it one me for the past three years with it was you and your drinking problem!" Great now I am crying again.

"You know that you killed your mother so do not blame that on me it was your singing that killed your mother!" I could hear him sobbing through the phone.

"Listen you don't get to cry over mom you killed her and if that car accident did not happen she would have ended up dead either way. I know you used to hit her and she would cover it up with make up. Dad you need help please find it and even though you are one of the worst people I know dad. Please take care of yourself." Said confidently not wanting to waste one more tear on him and with that I hung up the phone.

Later in the day I found Nathan under the tree and I went towards him. He sta down and so did I under the branch and on the bench.

"So what are we?" I ask concerned

"The real question is what do you want us to be?"

"I don't know we still have the problem with the bet."

"What is it exactly?"

"Well what am I gonna tell Sam?"

"We should fake it" he said with excitement

"Well what I mean is the relationship will be real to us and no one will know about the bet till prom of course and you can get all of your friends back."

"So you don't want me to tell Sam it is over." I am so confused

" no don't tell her." He said looking desperate.

"Ok I won't but what are we?" I still don't have a answer like come on dude.

"We are boyfriend and girlfriend now." He said quite seriously.

"Ok..ok" I laughed at his reaction.

Nathan's Pov

This is great Jamie is my girl now all is  good. I went to work after the conversation and lost my job. My foster dad the drunk went in and said that I was dangerous not to be trusted. So the manager did not want to take any chances so they fired me great. Ding! It is Jamie she asked if I wanted to come over the Gonzalez' s aren't gonna be home so I said why not what could happen.
