Another Truth

Jamie's Pov

The nurse told me that Nathan is awake and talking to a police officer but not to worry about his past getting involved. I just played along acting like I knew what past she was talking about. When I arrived at the hospital I noticed that Nathan was hand cuffed to the bed. I had not noticed before but this probably is the past she was talking about. I was just staring at his hand when Nathan opened his eyes. He looked at me with a don't judge me look.

Nathan's Pov

After Officer Stone left I closed my eyes for a quick fifteen minutes. And to my surprise there she is Jamie my sweet Jamie. When I looked into her eyes she was in deep thought. As though wondering why is she with me a "criminal". She stared deeply at my arm that had the hand cuff. She noticed that I was staring at her and she moved her eyes towards mine. And in the first time in forever we were incinc my heart felt as though it was empty and now in this moment in time full again.

"Jamie I-I can explain" Her eyes were already full of tears waiting to be unleashed.

"Please DO"

"My fosterdad was abusing my foster mother and so I kicked him out about a few months ago. He then came bscm with a gun. He beat my foster mom into a coma. And now I don't know if I am going to juvie or not."

"Wow babe are you ok..wait that is a dumb question"

"Baby just know that if I go to juvie and have to move to another state I love you."

Cat's Pov
Jamie had just found out that Nate has been shot. What if this is a sign telling me that my feelings need to come to light? The day aftet Jamie went to visit him I snuck in to see him he was sleeping peacefully and I went to sit next to him. I grabbed his hand and said " hey Nate I dont know if you can hear me but I think I love you.". His fingers locked with mine as though saying I love you too.

Nathan's Pov

When Jamie left I started to remember Cat she came in and told me that she loves me. Now I know for a fact Jamie does not know because if she did I would have already been yelled at. I think Cat is making everything go out of proportion I legit never even talk to her. Maybe sometimes but not even on a regular basis.
