The Bet

The set up

Cat and I decided to met up at her house after I get off of work. I take the bus to her house at five and get there around five thirty. I have a key so I don't have to ring the doorbell. I basically live there anyways. I open the door and head upstairs I say high to Mr. And Mrs. Gonzalez. When I get up to Cats room, she is asleep. I wake her up and we started to plan.

"Jamie this is a bad idea and you know that Sam is going to use her popularity to get him first."

"Cat we can do this ok let's plan."

"Alright let's do this"

"So I was thinking about doing this walking on the football field while they are in practice in my running outfit with concludes shorts and a sports bra."

"Um.. ok that is a good start." She says writing it on a small white board on her room wall.

" I will walk up to the coach and ask him if I can speak to the quater back for mathletes club."

"Are u sure the coach would even let you talk to him?"

"I will talk to Ms.steward and tell her that I think if a jock is on the team we will get more people to join."

"YA that could work!" She shouted with excitement.

" So after I talk to him I that the team meets up on the football field after practice."

"Yup this could work!".

This is great now I have a plan for tomorrow I am definitely gonna win this bet.

Oh! Crap I fell asleep at Cat's house my dad is gonna get really mad. I'll just borrow a pair of jeans and a shirt,and my gym stuff is in my locker.

As me and Cat approached the school. We noticed that Sam was still not hanging with the crew she was not even there I got worried and so did Cat. Through the whole day I was just wondering if she had hurt herself or worse. Anyways that is besides the point i tryed to make amends and I was not the one who was wrong she was!

After sixth period Cat had drama club and I had mathletes which was perfect because it was right after gym which while gym is going on so is football practice.

So when gym started I asked the coach if I could talk to the quater back and he said yes as per usual I knew I was the coach's favorite. As I walked over to Nathan.
"Hey I'm Jamie I wanted to talk to you about mathletes." I said so sweet you could bite a pieces of candy off me.

"Um.. no thanks." He said so cold I got chills he had this look in his eye that I loved it was a sparkle a glimpse of heaven.

"Sorry I came off like I was giving you a choice. Ok let's say this you have a B average right?" I said sarcastically

"Am I suppose to answer are you gonna speak for me?" He smirked.

"Just answer the question." I proclaimed.

" Ok ok baby don't get it twisted yes I have a B average." He smiled pretty cocky. I like that.

"Listen "baby" I am giving you an easy extra credit and A.P. class in math ok so just do me the favor and join." I say blushing a ton I am gonna sweet talk my way through this bet. He is handsom,tall,green eyes and beautiful bronze skin.

Nathan's POV

Wow! A little feisty one she is so beautiful but I can not let her in not after what happened in my past. She will not be able to take that hurt I mean look at her she looks like she never has been hurt. She is a damsel.

She walks away and I have no choice to follow her it is the end of practice. I suddenly remember that I need to take a shower in the locker room first if I am ever gonna have a chance with her.

After I am done I head to the mathletes room and I see her there with her dark thick black hair down to her waist and swaying in the air as she turns suddenly as I tap her shoulder.

"Can I help you?" She states surprised that I am even here.

"You said this can give me extra credit remember?"I felt so disrespected like if you are gonna make a big deal out of this club at least remember what you had proclaimed.

"Yes yes I do I was just pulling your leg." She said with a chuckle.

She touched my muscular arm in a playful flirt way without knowing what she had done and removed her hand in a fast manner.

"Sorry my bad don't tell your girlfriend on me." She said with puppy dog eyes.

"What girlfriend?" I laughed but she looked at me funny like she was waiting for me to reject her.

"Ok anyways so this is the team and we meet up every Monday, Thursday, and Wednesday." She said while I stood in front of the group of nerds wow my friends beat up almost all of these people.

I went and sat down when she came up to me and asked"what shirt size are you?"

"XL I've always been a buff dude and tall."

"Follow me" she lead me to a storage room and inside was a pile of boxes.

"Here try it on now so that I know what size to order your huddie"
I took off my shirt and she instantly looked at my six pack,but turned suddenly when she saw I noticed.

"It is ok I know I am beautiful" I said with a chuckle.

"No you are and cocky." She turned around.

"Aww did you just admit that I am beautiful." I smirked

"Does it fit." She sighed and pointed to the huudie.

"Yes it does just relax baby." I grinned

She suddenly moved close and kissed me on the lips a long kiss ten seconds. She looks at me and says "just relax baby" she smiled and through her hands up make quotation marks.
I laughed and followed her out of the room.
