Chapter 5: Phone Number

  'Why does he have this kind of effect on me?'

  "Don't ask me." He said with a smirk and shrug. 'Wait? Did i just said my thoughts out loud?'

  "Yes, you did Ice Princess." He said with a smirk. I clasped my hands over my mouth then gave him a death glare while my cheeks were pinkish in color due to embarrassment.

  "Easy there, Tiger." He said while waving his hands infront of him.

  "What do you want, Jack? And please don't call me Ice Princess." I said while one hand on my hips.

  "I'll drop it if you stop calling me Cocky Prince." He said while narrowing his blue eyes on me.

  "Nah, i'll just go on with it. It suits you. No offense though." I said with a slight smirk.

  "Non taken." He said sarcastically.

  "Good. What do you want from me, anyways?" I asked with crossed arms and a raised eyebrow.

  "Don't tell me you forgot? " he said while running a hand through his brownish blonde hair. I just shrug and gave him an innocent look. He sighed and took out his IPhone from his pocket then handed it to me. I just looked at it with confusion.

  "What's this for?" I asked while pointing at the IPhone his handing to me.

  "You said you'll give me your number if we meet again." He said with a smirk. Then my mouth formed an 'o'.

  "Are you really that desperate? " i asked while narrowing my eyes on him. He just shrug. I sighed then took his IPhone and i started typing my own number on it. After that, i handed it back to him. He took it and started scribbling down on his phone. Probably registering my number.

  "Happy now? " i asked sarcastically. He looked at me then smiled at me. I then felt my phone vibrated. I looked back at Jack who was smirking. I gave him an annoyed look then continued on checking my phone. The number wasn't registered on my phone but just reading the content of the text, i already knew who its from.

  I looked at him.

  "Just to make sure you gave me the right number." He said with a wink and smile.

  "J.M? Really?" I asked him in disbelief. He just shrugs and smirked.

  "Yup, well i better get going, Ice Princess." He said. He gave me a flirtatious wink then waved and finally walked away to the door. I just glared at his back.

  But before he could reach the door, it opened and revealed shock faces of my friends. Alicia, Jannah, Gem and Kelly. They all looked at me then to Jack then back to me then to Jack again. They all gave me a mischievous smile and smirk.

  "What?" I asked them with disbelief.

  "Nothing." They all blurted out but was chuckling sofly. I glared at them while they put on their innocent faces. 'Great! I'm sure they won't stop teasing me about Jack.' I thought with a groan.

  "Well, would you like to introduce us to your 'Friend' here?" Kelly asked emphasizing the word Friend.

  "Do i have to?" I whined. They all gave me death glares while Jack was chuckling.

  "Fine. Fine. Girls this is Jackson Miller. But you can call him Cocky Prince." I said with a smirk. He groaned while messing his brownish blonde hair.

  "Jack, this are my so called 'Friends'." I said while emphasizing the word friend. The girls gave me glares while Jack was chuckling.

  "The blonde hair with brown eyes is my over dramatic and crazy bestfriend, Jannah Swan." I said while pointing at Jannah who was scowling.

  "The one with short blonde hair and fierce green eyes is my sweet but naive bestfriend, Alicia Jones." I said while gesturing at a groaning Alicia.

  "The one with long brown hair and green eyes is my utterly shy bestfriend, Gem Sanders." i said while gesturing at a chuckling Gem.

  "The one with long blonde hair with pink streaks is my bestfriend and also a walking shopping machine, Kelly Sparks." I said while gesturing at Kelly who has her arms crossed and eyebrow raised.

  "Well, its nice to meet you girls." Jack said with a smirk.

  "Same here, Jack." Jannah said with a smile. And i know that smile. Its Jannah's famous 'Teasing Smile'.

  "I better get going. I'll call you later, Ice Princess. " Jack said while making a hand signal of a phone using his hands. He then smirked then left us. When he was far...

  "OH MY GOD!" They all squealed in unison. I needed to cover my ears because of their sudden outburst.

  "He's such a hottie!" Alicia exclaimed while squealing like a fangirl.

  "I agree. You're so lucky, Rein!" Kelly added.

  "No, i'm not!" I said with a groan. They all stop squealing and looked at me with look of disbelief.

  "Say what?" They all said in unison.

  "He's annoying and not to mention cocky." I said while throwing my hands in defeat.

  "But he's also cute, hot and handsome!" Jannah exclaimed.

  "Ugh! We just met yesterday, For goodness sake!" I exclaimed, trying to reason out.

  "WHAT?!" They all asked, amused.

  "But why did you gave him your number?" Gem asked while eyeing me.

  "I know you for so long, and i know that you won't give your number to anyone you just met. And remember your promise." Jannah said while raising an eyebrow.

  "I know. We met yesterday and he won't let me go until i give him my number so i said, if we would meet again, i'll give it to him. And unfortunately, he somehow attends the same school as i'am." I said while groaning.

  They all looked at each other with mischievous smiles.

  "Destiny." They all said in unison with smirks on their faces.
