Chapter 20: Dress up for a Date

  "Sure."

  "Sure."

  "Sure."

  Those words of Jack kept on repeating on my head like a cassette tape.

  Why did he agree? Better yet, why am i this affected?!

  "Rein, Dear.. Give me one reasonable reason on why are you not ready yet?!" -Jessa.

  She just barged in my room with a huge frown on her face. I glanced at my alarm clock. 8:30 am. WHAT THE F?!

  "Jessa, its only 8:30. Meaning, i still have an hour and a half before he barged in here?!"

  "Nuh uh! You get your butt of that bed and take a bath before i do it for you!"

  I lazily stood up and glanced at her with a glare. She's wearing a pink cardigan top, denim short, and ankle boots. Sheesh, she's already dressed for her date which is a Lunch Date.

  A LUNCH DATE!

  Its like 8:30 in the morning.. Uh hello?!

  "Are you that excited?" I said with a disgusted look.

  "Duh? Jack is the hottest guy i met and i won't let a big catch like him go that easily." -Jessa.

  I shivered at her own choice of words. The old Jessa is innocent and sweet not this i don't know, b*tch!

  Seriously, what did LA did to her?!

  After a other series of whine and protest, i didn't have a choice but to follow her in the name of my Oreos.

  What? She threatened to dump all my Oreos at the trash if i won't follow her. And let me tell you what, I'M AN OBSESSED OREO LOVER!!

  I nearly screamed as i felt the familiar cold water dripping down my body.

  "Cold Cold Cold!" -me.

  After that one hell of a bath, i'm finally done. I went out of the bathroom wearing my bathrobe. And there, lying on my bed, is a frankly every piece of clothing i own.

  I glanced at Jessa who was rumpaging my whole closet. I rolled my eyes at her.

  "To short....No, Too long.....Too old fashioned..... Too revealing.....Too ugly... To shiny... Too dull.. too over sized... Too nerdy... Too much.. not enough..... FINALLY!! I FOUND THE PERFECT OUTFIT!"

  She yelled over the mountain of clothed she just did. I glared at her and gestured to the mountain of clothes lying everywhere. She just gave off a nervous laugh.

  "I'll fix it later. But now, get dressed." -Jessa.

  She handed the dress to me and shoved me inside the bathroom. I groaned and took a look at dress she got me. I can't help but smile. Its a simple peach dress that ends above the knee with black linnings. Simple as i like it...

  She still remember my likeness of being simple. She didn't changed that much after all..

  After i was done dressing myself, i exited my bathroom. And guess what, a pair of flats was flying towards me. Luckily, i caught it in time. It was a pair of peach flats.

  "Wear those to match the dress. Then i'll fix your hair " -Jessa.

  I sighed but did as told. Well, at least its not a pair of killer stilettos like she's wearing. I don't think i can walk in those even if my life depends on it.

  By the time i wore the flats, Jessa dragged me to a chair, facing a mirror and started doing my hair.

  After 123456789 hours, she's finally done. The top portion of my hair was fixed on a puff while the bottom rest is curled in big volumes.

  "Ummm, Jessa. Don't you think that your doing extra effort. Its just a date.. JUST a date." -me.

  "Of course its not just a date. Its my cousin's FIRST ever date so i have to make you extra pretty without being over or under dressed." -Jessa.

  "Its just a Lunch Date. Not that special." - me.

  "Oh, your such a-"

  Ding Dong Ding Dong

  "Someone's at the door. I'll go get it!" -i yelled.

  Yes, a perfect chance to escape Jessa's long speech of 'Dates'

  When i opened the door, i froze in shock. Standing infront of me, handsome as ever, is non-other than Jack.

  He looked surprised as me. We stood there, in complete silence. Kept on staring at each others eyes. No one dared to speak nor move.

  "Hey, Jack!"

  Someone from behind me yelled causing our eye contact yo break. Behind me was Jessa who has a huge smile on her face.

  oh yeah, Jessa and Jack has a Lunch Date...
