Chapter 21: First Date

  "Its a good thing your here, Jack. Can you tell Rein here that FIRST dates are special!" -Jessa.

  She ran passed me and started to hug Jack's arm like her life depends on it. Here we go again, the B*tch Jessa had returned!

  "You should seriously stop nagging about FIRST DATE's already. Its starting to get annoying." -Me.

  I glared at Jessa who frankly hid behind Jack's back. I sighed and looked directly at Jack. He has this uncomfortable look on his face. Probably because Jessa's clinging attitude annoyed him.

  "Uhh.. We should head off." -Jack.

  "I think you should." -me.

  I gave off an awkward smile which he answered with a fake one.

  "Ok, Bye Rein! Enjoy your date!" -Jessa.

  And with that, they rode Jack's ferari.

  I let out a sigh of relief. Sheesh, what's up with me? And where did that awkwardness came from?

  And why do i feel so uneasy in seeing them together? Am i being selfish or Jealous?

*Knock Knock Knock*

  Its been about 10 minutes since Jessa and Jack left.

  I opened the door and let him enter.

  "Hey, Rein!" -Francis.

  "Hi!" -Me.

  I exchanged the same enthusiasm as he has but half of that was fake.

  "So, ready to go?" -Francis.

  "Uhh... Y-Yeah." -me.

  He nodded, smiled then opened the door. We silently walked to his Lamborghini that was parked infront of our lawn. He opened the door for me and let me enter.

  Tsk, Gentleman..

  We reached a restaurant after strolling the streets for 20 minutes.

  "Do you have any reservation?"

  Asked the waiter.

  "Yes, I'm Mr. Buentavista. And i have reservations for two." -Francis.

  "This way sir." -Waiter.

  He lead us to a table near the restaurants window.

  "What would you like to eat?" -Francis.

  I looked up from the menu and faced him. He has this cute and charming smile but Jack's is different. Jack has a more heartfelt and handsome smile.

  And his smiles makes my heart pound more than anything. Its just different than anyone's else and its creeping me out. But is it really possible that i'm already inlove with him?

  "Uhh.. I'll just eat steak." -me.

  I forced out a smile at him which he returned almost immediately.

  "Ok... Ummmm, Waiter!" -Francis.

  A guy around his early 20's approached us. He's wearing a waiter's uniform.

  "We will have two orders of steak and two orders of juice." -Francis.

  The waiter scribbled our orders down on his notebook then left.

  "Oh My God! Rein, is that you?!"

  Someone from behind me said. I didn't have to turn around to know that it was Jessa. Wait, Jessa? That means-

  "And you must be Francis?" -Jessa.

I was to late. She and Jack was already here. Jessa was talking with Francis while Jack looks pissed.

  "Hi, I'm Jessa by the way. Rein's cousin." -Jessa.

  "Hello, I'm Francis." -Francis.

  "So, what do you guys say for a double date?" -Jessa.

  I mentally panicked. A double date? Me, Francis, Jessa and Jack?

  "Yeah sure. What do you think, Jack? Rein?" -Francis.

  "Sure."

  "Sure...?"

  Me and Jack answered simultaneously. And i was the unsure one.

  "Great!" -Jessa.

  She then settled down beside me while Jack sat across her. It was a rectangular table by the way.

  Jessa and Jack ordered. While waiting, we all talked, well mostly Francis and Jessa. Ok, ONLY Francis and Jessa talked while me and Jack only listened.

  When the food came, the same routine continued. Talk about awkward...

  "So, Rein. Are you and Francis on a relationship?" Jessa asked dragging me on their conversation.

  "No. Were just friends" -Me.

  Jessa and Jack looked shocked while Francis shows disappointment.

  "Seriously? " -Jessa.

  Jessa seemed interested with this. Why though?

  "Ummm, yeah?" -me.

  "So, you and Jack?" -Francis.

  I know that he's feeling kinda uncomfortable with that topic so he randomly changed it.

  "Just friends." -Jack.

  It was me and Francis's turn to look surprise. Jessa looked unaffected. Seriously, what is up with her?

*Krriiinnnnggggg*

  We all looked at Francis who has was checking his phone.

  "Sorry guys but i have to take this." -Francis.

  We all nodded at him. I watched him as he walked away from us with his phone already on his ears.

  "I'll just go to the restroom." -Jessa.

  But before i could protest, she dashed off. Great, leave it to awkwardness..

  "So.../ So..."

  "You go first/ You go first"

  "Ok, i'll go first./ Ok, i'll go first"

  We both looked at each other before bursting out laughing. Talk about telephaty. I'm really happy to destroy that awkwardness.
