9 months later

I jolted up taking a large gasp. I looked over and saw Barry laying next to me. Both of us covered in wires and tubes.

"Where are we?" Barry asked and I looked at the two people in the room.

"They're up." The girl said and was over by the medical machines. She started jumping on Barry checking him over. "Pulse 120, pupils equally reacting to light." Barry and I started to get up and the other guy in the room came over. "Look at me, look at me."

"Hey hey whoa whoa whoa, relax." He said to us. "Everything's ok guys. You guys are at S.T.A.R Labs."

"S.T.A.R Labs?" Barry asked confused.

"Who are you guys?" I asked.

"I'm Cisco Ramon. She Caitlin-uh, Dr. Snow."

"I need you both to urinate in this." She said showing us a small plastic container.

"Not this second." Cisco said grabbing it from here. Barry got up anyways.

"What is- What is happening? What's going on?" Barry asked.

"You two were struck by lightning dude."

"What?" Barry said as I got up and looked around for a moment trying to understand. Barry looked at the screen to see his stomach. "Lightning, gave me abs?"

"Your muscles should be atrophied but instead there in a chronic and explained state of cellular regeneration." Dr. Snow said as I lifted my shirt and saw I was just like Barry. What happened with that lightning.

"Come here, have a seat." Cisco said and pulled us to sit. I finally got to see myself on the screen. My hair was platinum blonde. I touched it making sure it was me I was looking at.

"My hair..."

"You two were in a coma."

"For how long?" Barry asked.

"Nine months." We heard another voice said and looked over to see Dr. Harrison Wells come in the room in a wheel chair. "Welcome back Mr. and Miss Allen. We have a lot to discuss.

They gave Barry and I a change of clothes. Barry his jeans and a S.T.A.R Labs sweatshirt, while I was given a pair of sweat pants and the same shirt. After getting dressed I put my hair up in a bun and we left and walked with Dr. Wells down the hall.

"It's hard to believe we're here." Barry said. "I mean I've always wanted to meet you face to face."

"Yeah? Well you certainly went to great lengths to do it. S.T.A.R Labs has not been operational since FEMA categorized us as a class four hazardous location. 17 people died that night. Many more were injured. Myself among them." We looked over the railing and saw all the damage.

"Jeez. What happened?" Barry asked.

"Nine months ago the particle accelerator went online exactly as planned. For 45 minutes, I had achieved my life's dream, and then-then there was an anomaly. The electron volts became unmeasurable, the ring under us popped. Energy from that detonation was thrown into the sky and that in turn seeded a storm cloud-"

"That created a lightning bolt, that struck us." Barry said and looked over at me.

"That's right. I was recovering myself... when I heard about you two. The hospital was undergoing unexplainable power outages every time you would go into cardiac arrest, which was actually a misdiagnosis, because you see neither of you were flat lining, your heartbeats were moving too fast for the EKG to register it. Now I'm not the most popular person in town these days," Dr. Well continued to explain as we reentered the room we woke up in, "But detective West and his daughter gave me permission to bring you both here where we were able to stabilize you both."
