- 9:10 pm: Saturday night, Kou Gasai -
I sigh again and assign the members that are here with me some tasks.
"Okay, Yuma: you start by picking up the structure bars, take it slow and pick as many as you can with ease. Subaru: I want you to help Yuma with the bars. Ayato and Kino: start by picking up the mattresses. Kou and I can pick up the cushions and bed sheets." Everyone nods and we all get to work. I open a bed sheet and start placing cushions in it.
"What are you doing?" Kou crouches down next to me and helps me put them nonetheless.
"What we can do is: we can put cushions in the bed sheets and then tie a knot in the bed sheet so the cushions don't fall out. This way, we can bring several things at the same time." I smile at him and he hums in wonder.
"Ooh~ Nice!" He puts his hand in the air and I reply by giving him a high five. We both continue to place the cushions until there is enough space on the bed sheet left to tie a knot. I tie a tight knot and give it to Kou.
"Okay, keep these in the living room. Be sure to not get lost." I say and he looks at me funny but nudges my shoulder with a pout. Alisha comes down into the room with everyone and tells them to pick something up while she goes into the theater room with Yui, Maria, Reiji, Ruki and Azusa. I continue to wrap the cushions into the bed sheets and take one upstairs with ease. After Kou and I are done with the cushions and the covers, we go into the theater room and Kou is astonished.
"Wow-"
"Kou! Why didn't we watch the movies here last time?" Olivia asks as she stops next to me with a lot of candies in her hands.
"This area was still dirty at the time because the decoration here had just finished so..." I shrug and she sighs.
"Well, we can watch them here this time, can't we?" She asks and I nod. "Yay! Oh and sorry for interrupting you Kou." She apologizes to him and he waves, saying it's not a big deal.
"This place is awesome!" He says and walks in front while I go to Alisha.
"What did you have here?" I look around to see the room almost clean.
"Well, some glow in the dark paints, loads of candies that don't melt in room temperature, balloons, mason jars, crackers, stuff for cocoa, sprinkles and other toppings, wafers, some more snacks." She smiles and I shake my head, smiling back nonetheless.
"You really planned a lot for this one, huh?" I ask with my arms crossed and she nods enthusiastically.
"Yeah, I mean we didn't do much last time and it didn't feel like a proper sleepover. This time I wanted to do something that would actually feel like one. There are so many people this time as well, I don't want them to feel like it was for nothing." She shrugs as she takes some left over candies with her and I take some packets and boxes of toppings while I follow her.
"That's a good start for you, you know? Whatever job you take, these kind of organization skills will help you a lot." I smile at her and she thinks over my opinion and nods seriously.
"You are right. Organization skills is not everything, though it's a big part in any kind of job." She says and looks at the ceiling when I tell her to look ahead so she doesn't trip. We both put everything on the 1st floor, even the twister mat so we wouldn't have to go back down again.
"Okay, everything is done! Thank you so much for the help everyone!" She bows to everyone who is sitting down either on the floor or couch, panting and breathing heavily. "I'm so sorry! I know you all are very tired! But I promise from now, we will have a lot of fun and no one is gonna get tired. I promise!" She bows down again with much guilt.
"It's fine... I think we all can start with the agendas in about 5 minutes. How do you all say?" I look around to wait for their response. They all look at me and nod. Alisha comes and sits down next to me and shows me the list she made. She comes closer and whispers to me all the plans she has made.
"Okay, so first, we will set up customized tents outside with the kids." She says and I look at her immidiately so she stops talking.
"Outside? Oh my god! That will be so much fun!" I whisper back and hold my hand in the air, then she lifts her hand and we high five each other.
"I know right?! I thought you wouldn't like it." She nervously giggles and I laugh. "Okay, so it will be at least 11 pm when we are done with setting up the tents. Then we will have breakfast: for that, we have waffles. Then we will do a competition of creating the best glow in the dark jars because the kids wanted to do it. After that, we will do a dance off in the VR room, that will be so much fun!" I nod enthusiastically and she giggles. "After that, I think it will be till 3 am so we will have some early lunch so we don't have to stop in between of an activity: for lunch we will have mac 'n' cheese and some yummy doughnuts."
"Oh em gee!" We both laugh and everyone looks at us weirdly.
"What are you doing?" Lola comes up to us and tries to read from Alisha's list.
"Hey! You are not allowed to read this!" Alisha hides the paper by pressing it against her chest while I just laugh it all off.
"Ugh! Come on! We wanna see too!" Lola whines but goes back when Alisha doesn't show her. She then scoots closer to me and continues with the plan.
"Anyway, so after lunch, which will be around 4:30 by then, and we will play truth or dare. At around 6, we will play some more games in the gaming room. Then at 9, we can start making dinner and for that, we will have... hm." She starts thinking and I look at everyone chatting and sitting around.
"How about... Pasta for today? For desserts, we could have brownie parfaits." I suggest and Alisha brings her hand in the air and we both high five again.
"Hell yeah! Then after dinner, we will start by watching movies in the theater room and then around 2 or 3, we will go to sleep in the tents outside." She says and folds the paper. I think over the materials and look at her.
"What about the other materials like candies, the cocoa, twister and all the things we won't use?" I ask but she just winks at me with a finger in front of her lips.
"Who said we only have one day and one night for the sleepover?"
