Disclaimer: Okay, so I know there is not much going on in the chapters but this is just like a relaxing zone until the story reaches its climax point. I am planning to write longer chapters as well so the story is more interactive and chapters make up for any delays in the uploading because I am not able to follow a consist uploading schedule. - 9:45 pm: Saturday night, Kino Sakamaki -
We all go outside with some of the basic materials in our hand and the kids come with us as well. The Mukamis carry the structural bars while us Sakamakis carry the cushions and lights. Meanwhile the girls carry some left over structural bars, mattresses and bed sheets. The kids carry balloon packets and cushion covers all around the pool. We all put the materials next to each other in a pile and Alisha claps her hands.
"Okay guys! So now we will set up... 6 tents with 3 people in 2 and 4 people in the left over 4. How does that sound? There are a total of 22 people here after all." She says and I think over it with my fingers wrapping around my chin.
"But wouldn't that end up in some girls living in the same tent as the boys?" As soon as I say that, I see Kou run into the house and come out with a paper and pen while scribbling something on it. With her tongue out, she scribbles while taking support of her arm to write. After a huge tap on the paper with the pen, she turns to all of us.
"Okay, so instead of 6 tents, we will have 7. Tent 1: Ayato, Kanato and Laito; tent 2: Shu, Reiji and Subaru; tent 3: Ruki, Kou and Yuma... Tent 4: Azusa, Kino and Kaito; tent 5: Sarah, Maria and Lola; tent 6: Flora, Olivia and Yui, then tent 7: Alisha, Megumi, Shizuka and me." She taps the paper again and looks up while we all look at each other.
"Sure, that works for us." Reiji nods and I shrug at the idea, not really minding it. I wanted the plan to change though, just a little but didn't bring it up. We all go into our assigned groups and start building our customized tents with first laying down the mattresses for base and then putting structural bars around it to build up a tent. Ruki suddenly asks for a cover for the tent and Kou gets up instantly, walking into the house.
"Oh yeah, how did we not think of it up until now?" Subaru says and we all just shrug. I look back at the entrance of the house and then at our tent that is almost complete.
"I have a feeling this is going to be pretty fun." I say and get up from my kneeling position while I dust my hands off. Kaito looks up from the lights in his hands and nods with a smile.
"I know. Alisha and Kou seem really excited about it!" He says and I smile back while I rub his head.
"That's good, isn't it?" I say and he nods again enthusiastically. I look at Kou bringing out a pile of thicker sheets in her hands that cover her face completely. With a perfect estimation, she puts the sheets on the ground, without falling into the pool.
"Okay everyone! Here are the tent covers!" I go from our team and get one of the covers without a word. Then I walk back and put the cover over our structural bars as Kaito instantly starts putting several cushions onto the covered mattresses. Azusa starts putting the festive lights around the top of the tent. I on the other hand, tidy the bed sheet that was already laid on the mattress.
- 10:50 pm: Saturday night, Kou Gasai -
We all are done with the tents and are now standing in somewhat a circle as we all admire each other's tents.
"Oh my god, are we builders or what?" Olivia says with her hand on her left side of her chest.
"Not gonna lie, they really look good. The lights all around the tents and inside them: look pretty beautiful." I say as I look at all the creative ideas, it really was nice to see them all the way they were.
