- 9:37 pm: Monday night, Kou Gasai -
I was in the kitchen and some of the members were quietly sitting in the living room, watching T.V. I look at them as I cut some fruits on the cutting board. My gaze turns to the T.V screen and I see the news reporting another accident at the central park. It was a touristic place and very historical as well. That fact definitely made everything a huge deal. I look down on the cutting board to see the knife very close to cutting my fingers. I move my hand away and focus on making breakfast.
The main door opens and I look up again to see some of the guys walking in very quietly. Alisha comes out from her room and looks around at the worn out faces. With a confused expression, she comes up to me and presses her hands against the counter.
"Why is everyone so quiet?" She tilts her head and I look behind her, at the awkward scene. I stand straight and look back at her.
"There is obviously some awkwardness going on between us because of the game. You need to give everyone some time to chill." I sigh and she hums in realization. She clicks her tongue in disappointment and goes to sit with everyone. I start to serve the food in plates when I remember the accident I just saw on the T.V.
Should I investigate it? I won't have any time though, not now at least. Damn....
I take the dishes into the living room and place them on the coffee table. With my hands on my hips, I sigh and start speaking.
"Can we just reduce the sexual tension between us?" I blurt out from irritation and Alisha gasps.
"Kou!" She scolds me and looks at me strictly.
"No! No 'Kou'! I'm watching you all from the kitchen and it's annoying! Can we just act normally?! We didn't have a one night stand or something yesterday so can we just get over it?!" I grunt but sit down on the couch anyway as we all start eating. "Sorry..." I mumble and continue eating. The girls except Yui leave right after breakfast and I start cleaning the dishes. Ayato comes up to me and holds a bar of chocolate in front of my mouth. I look at him in confusion and he nudges me side ways while pointing at the chocolate with his eyes.
"Well? Are you gonna eat it or no?" He asks and I sigh while rolling my eyes. My hands being full with soap, I eat the bar while it is still in Ayato's hand. I start to chew it and realize I am not familiar with the flavor.
"What chocolate is it?" I look at him as he pushes his hand forward again, allowing me to take another bite.
"You haven't had it?" He asks as I take another bite and shake my head.
"We didn't really have much chocolates in our realm, and I was never a huge fan of candies in the first place." I shrug and he gasps with his hand on his left side of his chest. I chuckle in amusement. He shakes his head, acting to be disappointed and eats the rest of the bar. I continue to wash the dishes while Ayato helps me and we keep chatting. Soon after we are done, he goes into the guest room to change his clothes while I flick through the channels on T.V.
I start writing down in my notebook, the things I can remember of the accident in the central park.
Date of crime: 29th April, 2017
Date written: 31st April, 2017
Time the crime occurred: 6:30pm
Place: Central park
Case: Nothing new, just another explosion. I have not found any lead on it yet since I can't seem to find any time to work on this section of the overall case. The talisman hasn't been found yet either due to time constrains and the availability in my schedule to go all the way over there any time soon doesn't exist. This journal is added so it can remind me to investigate further on it.
I stop writing and flick through the other pages I had written, from yesterday to the first entry. I sigh and face the ceiling with my head resting on the back board of the couch with my eyes closed.
It is getting harder to find the clues now. What am I supposed to do?
I rub my face to refresh myself from the stressing thoughts when I hear a knock on my bedroom door. I close the book and tell the person on the other side to enter. I look in the direction to see Reiji looking inside the room.
"What's up?" I get up and walk towards him while he opens the door wider so we both can walk out.
"We are leaving, so just wanted to let you know." He tells me and I look at everyone waiting at the main door, including Alisha and the kids.
"Oh, I see. You can stay longer if you want you know?" I ask and turn towards Reiji but he shakes his head.
"No, thank you for the offer though. We have some study programs for all of us that we need to complete. " We both walk to the group and I see Kino talking to Kaito while sitting on his knees to reach Kaito's height.
"I see. Well, it was very fun. Hope you all enjoyed." I smile at everyone and they smile back.
"It definitely was." Laito winks and places his hands on his hips while Ayato smacks him across his head.
"It was." Ayato admits while glaring at Laito.
"Yes, one of the best I must say." Ruki shrugs his shoulder in amazement while I chuckle.
"Yes... Thank you for... everything Alisha... Kou and kids." Azusa smiles at all of us and the kids smile back at him. Kino gets up after fist bumping Kaito and Kanato speaks up.
"Wow, look who's bonding with the kids?" Kanato mocks Kino and he looks away in embarrassment.
"It's not that. I just like kids, is all." He rubs the back of his head, messing his already messy hair up further.
"Oh... That's new coming from you." Subaru says in astonishment and Alisha and I giggle while looking at each other. The kids join us as they giggle as well.
"Shut up~" He whines and looks at the ground while crossing his arms.
"Alright now. Thanks for the time." Yuma gives a casual salute by waving two fingers quickly in front of his temple and starts walking out while I salute back the same way.
"Yeah, see you in school." Shu says and follows Yuma out of the house while Alisha replies with an 'of course'.
"Bye guys!" Yui smiles a closed eye smile and walks off while we wave back.
"Buh-bye~" Kou blows a kiss with both of his hands towards Alisha and me while walking backwards out of the house. I sigh and wave at all of them going away. After closing the door, I turn to Alisha as the kids dive into the couch to watch T.V.
"Care to explain me why you didn't tell me about this?" I put my hands on my waist and she turns to me with a nervous look.
"Uh.... Yeah! It was a surprise?" Her speed of speaking decreases as she proceeds with her sentence. Before I can do anything, she runs away and I chase behind her.
"Come back here you! Alisha!"
