It was Monday again and all of the students were crowding into the cafeteria for lunch. I hadn't gotten anything for lunch because I wasn't hungry. So I started walking over to the table that I usually sit at which is Dinah and her friend Ally, and a few more people. But about half way there someone grabbed my hand, stopping me from walking. "Hey Mila.", Normani said as I turned around. "Oh, hey Mani. How are you doing?", I asked. "I've been good. Want to come sit with me and the girls today?", she asked turning to look at a table. At the table was Lauren, who you already know as my ex. But we are cool. Valentina who is some girl from her ballroom dance class. And then some short brown haired girl who I didn't know.

I looked back at Dinah and Ally and saw them staring at me. I wanted to sit with Dinah but I also wanted to sit with Normani. I decided to sit with Mani. I mouthed 'I'm sorry' to Dinah and I could see her sigh. I felt bad and felt like I made the wrong choice and I should have sat with her. But I still went with Normani and sat at her table.

"Guys, this is my friend Camila. Camila this is Val and Ashley. And you already know Lauren.", she said pointing to each person as she said their name. I nicely smiled at all of them and they did the same for me as I sat down. We continued with our lunch talking about different stuff that all of us did over the weekend. And then came the time to leave and go back to class. So we all said good bye and gave hugs and left. I saw Dinah about to walk out of the cafeteria so I ran to catch up with her. "Hey DJ.", I said wrapping my arm around her shoulder. "Oh, hey Mila.", she said with barely any emotion. "You okay?" I knew what was wrong but I still asked. "Nothing, I'm fine.", she said, still no emotion. I knew something was wrong but I know she doesn't like to be bothered about this kind of stuff. "Okay well i'll text you.", I said giving her a side hug and going to my class.
