*Camila's P.O.V.*

I heard faint footsteps walking closer and my heart was beating a thousand miles a minute. Then she finally came around the lockers and we looked at each other for the first time.

"I knew it was you.", Normani's voice rang through the locker room, as it was silent. I took a minute to admire Normani's smile as she walked closer to me. "Hi.", she said when she stopped in front of me. "Hi.", was all I could say. We both stared at each other. I opened my mouth, trying to make words come out. But when I failed I closed my mouth. I tried to put my hands in my pocket but remembered that I had flowers. "Um... t-these are... I g-got uh... Here", I said holding out the flowers for her. "You got me flowers?", she asked taking them from my hand. I nodded my head. "Thank you.", she smiled, leaning down and smelling them.

"H-how did you know?", I asked breaking the silence. "I just did. But I didn't want to say anything in case I was wrong.", Normani said sitting down on one of the benches. I sat down next to her. "Ya know. This is a really big thing. Coming to meet me and all. I'm proud of you.", Normani said as she admired the flowers. "Thanks." Normani looked over at me. "To be honest. I was expecting to come into an empty locker room.",she said looking around. I looked up at her as she turned to me. "I wasn't gonna bail on you.", I said staring into her eyes. "I didn't know that.", she said in an almost baby voice, throwing her hands in the air. We both laughed but it soon died down.

Normani took out her phone and looked at it. "Well, would you look at that. I think there is a football game we should be attending.", she said standing up. I chuckled at her corkiness before starting towards the door. I've never seen this side of Normani. But quite frankly I've never really seen Normani at all. I just know that she is that one girl from school who hates everyone. But I know that she isn't that.

I ran to the door and opened it for her. "Thanks.", she said walking past me. I turned the light off before closing the door and catching up with Normani. "I'm happy that it was you.", she said out of nowhere. "Why?", I asked after I almost stopped in my tracks from shock. "Because I didn't want it to be a dumb fuck boy or something who was just trying to get into my pants.", she said with ease. "How do you know i'm not trying to get in your pants?", I said without realizing.

Even though we had only been hanging out for a few minutes, I had already become more confident around her. She just let off this vibe, and for some reason, it comforted me. "Believe me. I know.", she laughed which caused me to laugh.
