I was sitting on my couch watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix. My mom and dad are out for the weekend and Sofi is staying at her friend's house so it's just me. My mom had told me not to have a party but said it was okay as long as I cleaned up. I wasn't really the party type and I just wanted to spend time with Mani this weekend anyway.
I heard a knock on the door and quickly got up and answered it. "Mila!", she said giving me a big hug. "Hey, Mani!" We walked into the house and sat down on the couch. "So whatchu been up to?", Normani asked. "Literally nothing. How about you?" "Same.", she said and then there was silence. "So, what do you wanna do?", I asked leaving the awkward silence. "I don't know. I feel like doing something daring. I don't know why. I just wanna be a rebel.", she said standing up and putting her hands on her hips. "Like what?", I asked standing up next to her. She looked around like she was trying to think of something. Then she got a bright look in her eyes and a smile. "What?" I was getting a little scared at this point. "The pool.", she said looking out the back window.
