I chuckled, "Alright well take deep breath and calm down and if you have to look at your parents and pretend that I'm not even here" I'm giving a 16 year old their first tattoo as I was getting the needle ready I went into my thoughts and thought my dad and my first tattoo. I got one when I was 14 yes I was really young when I got it but I got it for my dad. The first tattoo that I have is an armband and it's on my right forearm. The second tattoo that I got I was 15 and I got a bigger tattoo. I went to me to see one of his friends who was a tattoo artist too. I got the second tattoo on my left arm. (Second Tat below)

I got a tattoo every year. My mom opposed of it but I got them anyways. All together I have 5 tattoos. I have another big tattoo on my right arm and I have a bigger design on my back the one on my chest connects to the one on my back. My tattoos hold a lot of meaning behind them. I looked at the girl and smiled at her, "Ready?"
She looked at her parents who nodded and smiled then she looked at me and nodded. I started the needle and brought the needle to her skin. She jumped a little bit but relaxed soon after. She was laying on her side, getting your tattoo anywhere hurts but getting it on your bones, cartilage and attachments is where it hurts the most. Some people can handle pain and others can't. I make conversation with my customers to help them relax so that they aren't nervous. I wiped at the ink and looked at the parents, "So how do you guys feel about her getting her first tattoo?" I asked and went back to work
"Well we weren't too fond of the idea but she had a good reason. We just lost my husbands mother recently and she wanted to get a tattoo in memory of her. She's close to both her grandmas but this one was her favorite, she was like the grandmas pet and almost always wanted to be with her."
